I think this is a very appropriate thread considering all the injuries that have been occurring in the last few months with races and riders alike and plus I need a new suit

I’m currently running a a Fox body suit and don’t get me wrong It is a nice suit but there are a few things that I just don’t like about it, like how the rear spine protector sticks out in the back and it looks horrible, and a few other things that just don’t float the boat.

I have been looking at a few such as the TLD witch I heard is one of the best as far as comfort, flexibility and style are concerned. And the dainese witch I heard is also a good one to. I understand that most of this is personal preference but what do you ware? Or have worn that you really like

This is also a good thread for those of you who don’t own one and need to get one.

the new six six one is pretty good the kind that looks like the daineese idk what it is called but it fits nice and snug and dosent protrude out nearly as much as others. it also has a good tailbone protector which is dear to me now. I also like the tld descender, it fits snug and dosent even look like you have armor on if you get the right size.

TLD all the way. i rode padless 4 years because the other stuff was uncomfortable. could never get the back plate to feel right on my dainese so without it i didn't see the point in wearing a full suit and just wore elbow pads from time to time.

got a the TLD this year and love it. i did, however, remove the plastic shoulder cups to make it less restrictive and cut the wrist cuffs off mid forearm (you can cut it and it won't unravel). can barely tell it's there.

fairly cheap too.

I use the Azonic/O'neal DH gear. It works good, & I crash a lot..
The Tld one has really pathetic spinal protection, IMO. Most suits have much better nowadays.

I'll be loyal to the dainese half body and full body suits. I'm sure there are other brands that might be as good, but ever since I got my Dainese stuff it has worked awsome for me.

I hear the rockgardn flak jacket is really great, it's what I'm going to get when I have a bit of money. Have a look over at mtbr, it can be good for some things, lots of reviews of all the main body suits.

don't know about body armor but hate it for the fact that in case of bikes 2/3 of the reviews is made about someones 1st or 2nd bike(usualy after a long period of time). That's 2/3 of the stuff got a good avreage there :/

I'm using the 661 Core Saver at the moment for races and its fabulous. I'm riding in the tropics and full bodysuits just drain you of fluids (sweating buckets)!!! LOL

I made a 'Core Saver' by chopping the arms and shoulder cups off my Dianese jacket. I hate anything on my arms, so this was a way to make me want to wear body armour again....
