The bottom of the rear swingarm is directly connected to the bottom bracket instead of the frame, witch somehow enables you to run it singlspeed. or so ive herd.

yup, eccentric pivot point which prevents chain line growth as the linkage goes thru the travel. Old technology perfected with platform shocks. Looks pretty sweet...

I have a cowan DS aswell. The ride is pretty good, the rear is very active with the pivot centered around the force of ur weight at the pedals. The pedal efficiency suffers from this, but with the right shock it can be pretty good!

its actually for dirt jumping, i got the large frame and put an argyle on it and it was too slack and low, so i dusted off the old 66 and its perfect. also i have the fork really soft so it sags about an inch.

it could be, but i tend to build the jumps taller so it doesnt get that "initial slam" as it hits the lips... its not as good as a stiff 80mm but at least i can land flat and not have to worry about dying...i also plan on using this bike for slalom, (failed to mention that b4)

How well will the SS work on dual? Don't you run the chance of the chain coming off when the rear compresses?

That makes no sense, there is no way an argyle will make that frame(or any frame) slacker than a 66, do you even know what slack means?

Nice bike anyhow, it looks awesome.

one world...
Very nice, looks like a fun bike for shredding some steeps.

Maybe you should give the Argyle another shot though, I like steeper head angles (in most cases other than tech. steep sections.)

Unslack = Steep

Bike looks awesome, are you running full width Bars? 710? Just seems kinda wide for DJing.

why shouldn't the bars be wide for dj'ing?

Steep head angles rock for general DJ mayhem, although I'd like it a little slacker for slopestyle riding like this frame was meant to do Satori. It's more forgiving at speed with th elandings.

i actually took an inch of each side with the bars, although i like them wide... i have been using my demo 9 for dirt jumping for the last 2 years, so i am not used to small bars, besides the fact that i like them wider bettter

My DJ bikes always had around 25" bars, its harder to do bar spins with wider bars. At least for me.
