it is a shame. these frames were beautiful, until some unidentified vandals bashed them with baseball bats and dropped them from the roof. it is a sad day.

Haha. At first I was about to reply, "I can't tell the difference."

NORCAL is the hizzle
Nice one!

Those things look way better in person, and they are a kick to ride.

Plus, the downtube shape works great for dropping a bike over a gate for a shuttle.

Some interesting info copied from NSMB.com

These are still pre-production models and the edges will be further smoothed once the bikes arrive from Taiwan. Taiwan? Was that a typo? In fact it's the gospel. The Flatline will be the first Rocky Suspension frame, mitred, machined, jigged and welded outside of Canada. It's not quite the end of an era yet but the writing appears to be on the wall. Build quality in Taiwan is extremely good these days but there is still a price advantage to be had - and in this competitive market Rocky has decided it's time to move some things off shore - so to speak.

don't be hatters, I actually liked the edged tubes, plus the down tube brings the center of gravity a littly bit more to the center of the bike... from what I see, which is defenitly a good thing

I think the best 'color' scheme on that frame so far is plain old raw.. I liked what I saw at Whistler, but after seeing the gold with red decals... no sale
