hello,

I want a light Dh fork, with 180mm travel.

who's trying boxxerWc AND totem solo air ?
What fork have better sensitivity, more plush and reactivity ?

For the Boxxer, i can reduce the travel with spacers.

Thank you. ;)

Good one Zark. Now that I know its a girlie fork I have to change to something new.
I can hear it now

I am running a Totem Air on my new 7" mini DHer. So far I love the thing. It is not as stiff as my 07 40RC2, but is stiffer than my 06 Boxxer Team. I have the 1 1/8 Totem too. It is super plush and I can set it up any way I want it for any type of riding. The feel is much nicer than my 06 Boxxer but not as goo as my 40 was and both of them have springs. I gess it all comes down to the bike you are putting it on. I have a all air Morewood Shova LT with just at 7" in the rear. Its a great match for my setup.

I have a Totem currently, one thing that you would have to consider is that the Boxxer WC lacks the dual compression. The Totem is a fair amount stiffer that the Boxxer. I like the ability to adjust it to most terrain. The air fork isn't quite as supple as a sprung fork, but it sure does a great job on the trail. The axle to crown is very close on both of the forks. What bike is it going on?

In the woods...
Remember that the ride height [axle to crown] of the Totem @ 180mm travel is virtually the same as the ride height [axle to crown] of the Boxxer @ 200mm travel. Also you can get the 1 1/8" Boxxer lower than the 1.5" Totem thanks to the beauty of zero-stack :)

I was thinking of running the Totem for DH here in South Africa, but after some serious though [and months of e-speculation] I've decided Boxxer.

it's going on a Socom. thank's for the comments.
i whant a 180mm travel because i hate riding only DH. i hate to see my Socom in the room when my friends are riding freeride and Hard Xc. And i hate to ride with double crown fork in freeride, my boxxer race is too heavy and the turning radius isn't good with trial climb turns.
More over i'm not very very fast in DH, and my style is very smooth, i prefer light and stiff 180mm than too much plush 200mm and more weight, i think 180 is more reactive for me in technical sections.

Whaou ! south africa is great. i was here in june and it's the best beautiful nation i have travel.
Anyone have tuning tips to tune the Totem hydraulic in specialy DH hydraulic ? I think the less reactivity come to hydraulic start later because it's freeride forks than DH fork.
