Hucking a Nomad?

Went out to explore my new home town today for some potential freeride spots in Pensacola.

I found some.

5' to 6' to very nice tranny drops. Little hips to pop off of, some ladder work, all sorts of good stuff. Nothing I'd feel that was above the caliber of my Nomad, even in semi-xc shoes.

Then I found this interesting bit of gravity expression at the end of the hill...

I think its about 18' gap with about 6' of drop. I'd have to hit it full tilt, do you think the Nomad could handle it?

I love this bike, so I am a bit protective of it.
I am thinking I am going to swap the DHX air for a DHX coil though.

No way. A nomad works best with the DHX air- keeps it nice and light, and no less reliable. I was looking for a 4" travel bike to ride some of the trails around here, but after riding the Nomad i'm going for a longer travel bike (Giant Reign XO)- so much more confidence inspiring and fun to ride. Maybe a fraction slower on the uphills, but it rips on the drops and rougher stuff... hell I'd even race it for DH.

Wesley snipes called though and he says he wants his hat back
Just trying to prove that white men can jump.

Its hard to see beyond my headband, but the run into this is pretty sketchy. I got a bug up my ass last night, got my light out and went and did it. Made the landing, it was damn soft, ate crap and had to walk out with a busted light.

So after I fix the bike and the light I am going to have to go do some work on this area. Its got tons of potential.

I know who is building there. Talked to them, we're going out this weekend to start some new projects.

I learned never to build without asking from Hacksaw and Kidwoo, I knows better.

Are you sure its his left leg or his left/right center leg that cant be seen? Ive been looking for it for years and just havent stumbled onto it yet.

If you do not start hucking your nomad like you make me huck my bike Im going to come to florida and steal it from you...and that will be my free bike.

Sure, she can take that and MUCH more. This is the biggest I've taken mine and she soaked it up so fine. By the way I have a DHX coil and love it on the Nomad!

Navy doctor pilot wife.
I go where ever the big gray weenie tells me to go.

We're hoping for Wasington state, but anything off of the east coast is big.
