Personally, I don't think you're missing much - but it depends on what you like. It's the big hill that's surrounded by Sabre Springs Pkwy, Poway Rd, Ted Williams Pkwy and Pomerado Rd.
There's a lot of trail heads on that hill, but the easiest for you would be off Meadowbrook by the school.
Well everything is relative. Compared to what other dh/jump spots there are in SD its pretty much the best there is. Compared to Whistler it blows donkey dick.
It's like someone asking, "Where is the sock drawer in your house? I want to come over when you are not home and take all your stowed-away cash. Oh, and by the way, where is the hide-a-key rock where you keep the key to your front door."
Then the response, "The sock drawer is the top left of the big black dresser in the master bedroom at the top of the stairs and to the right. We won't be home Friday, so feel free to stop by. Oh, and the rock with the key is the pinkish one just to the left of the first step leading to the front door. PM me if you need anything else."
