MRP Bones Lite Anyone?

The XT's on my v-10 have finally given their guts after a few hard seasons of supporting my overly tubby self.

Very pleased with the performance of the XT's so I am convinced that another set of lighter cranks will last me a few seasons. The MRP Bones lite look the part and aside from the 175mm length they seem perfect.
I have done some searches but nada.

Anyone running these?

why not get another set of xt's? the new 2 piece ones w/ external BB are pretty jammin'. Lots of people are using them for dh racing too.

don't know anyone using them. know way more people using the new style XT cranks.

as jon said. just stay with XTs. plus they come in 170 and the new 08s come in 165

Tru Dat! I didn't even look at the new XT's!
My old ones (05's?) were 165s and i loved it, but the fact i had to mill off the bosses for the granny gear to fit in my chainguide was a pain.
I suppose the best reason to use them would be so i wasn't like every other A-hole with his xt's...that is nearly reason enough for me.

If you're very pleased with XT why would you leave? That said, the Bones Lite look like great competition (depending on price of course).

OT: How many E13 knock-off guides can MRP get away with?!

...hmmm - would the new 08' 165mm XT's come in an 83mm BB width by any chance???

but back to my original question:
Does anyone here own a set of these MRP's?

My xt's were the 2 piece setup. I wish the bosses for the granny ring were a lower profile i would hop right back on the bandwagon with the new 08's. Baaaaastards!
