i have an 08 dj 1 and the thing is a rock, i recomend it.
Yes the new DJ-1's are a good fork , differnt from years past vs the standard crop of zocchi's
This years DJ-1 has a sealed nitrogen fill cartrige , so your spring and damping elements are controled by this one cartrige .
Can the new DJ's be locked out like the old ones? Since it is only air in one leg that seems to be the only downside to the new version.
All the DJs from Zoke will treat you well. If you're a pretty smooth rider then the 2008 4x will treat you right and lighten up the front end.
go for any of the rockshox they are super sweet
08 4x if you got the dough, 08 Dj1 is the same as 07 4x
I will have to say go with the 08 4x. I am getting my 07 DJ warrantied and upgrading to the 4x.
