In the 70s my dad was a huge music fan with a great collection of over 1000 LPs, an Audio Union turntable with a gyroscopic tonearm and a huge Planar Solar speaker system that could shake the foundation with ZERO distortion. I used to play a lot of Cream, Blind Faith & Traffic when I was 10 or so. The speakers where taller than I was - I could feel the sound waves on my chest when I stood in front of them.
