To reply about something that is actually important to RACING at Massanutten.....Yes the top section of the course is well known for pinch flats. It has many lines and some of them are fast...if you dont flat. I was able to ride a couple of practice runs with some pros, and they said that they were running like 30-35 psi!! I would reccomend Maxxis, dual plys...forget Kenda, and WTB, the sidewalls are too thin for the top section, at least to try out all the lines that are there.

Hope this helps...u did ask a question about riding...and this is RIDEmonkey.....It is a good race super fun, non scary track, that u can always tell what, if anything you've done in the off-season has worked...

Hey now, I'm from nowhere close to Richmond!

I guess if I'm forced to say something useful, I'd like to point out that besides the two rock gardens, the only real rough patches on the course are about 2/3rd's or 3/4ths of the way down, where there are two sharp right hand turns that drop off fairly steeply just past the apex. I can't remember if it's the first or second one that's been known to buck people (read: me) over the bars, but it's something to watch out for. Then again, maybe I just have no handling skills whatsoeva.

Seriously, is this a very good example for how we should be acting?

Just because you don't like me, doesn't mean you should delete my posts, it's just not cool.

Seriously, is this a very good example for how we should be acting? No it is not, and for that I am heartily sorry for having offended you, and all of the other mods on Ridemonkey...and I PROMISE and avow, NEVER to insult the mods here EVER again, so long as I shall live

Just because you don't like me, means you should delete my posts, it's just way cool.
Fixed.

Thank you for that dirtygirlmagnet, it makes ALL worth while......
