i know that on some cannondales you have to have a specific hub for brake mounts. i know for a fact thats the case on my jekyll. now i'm about to buy a 2004 gemini frame, do i have to use the hub thats just for that frame, or can i use other 12mm hubs

same here, i've got mavic on my 05 chase, i was just making sure...it turns out the hub for the gemini is 12x135 so it's still weird

You might be thinking of (really) older hubs that have 4 bolt patterns, but you can get 4 bolt rotors.

Yes, Cannondale used 4-bolt rotor mounts, and then there is always the Lefty front hub standard as well...

Their only Crack-n-Fail specific hub is the Lefty front.
Everything else should be swapable between other bikes, as long as the axles are the same size.

well on my jekyll which is an "older" model, it's a 4 bolt disc rotor and it's the headshock not the lefty, and when i went to go put my new wheelset on the bike, the spacing was off between the rotor and the caliper. cannondale does put washers behind the calipers, but when i moved them to the other side, the spacing was still off just by the slightest bit.

but i digress from my original point...i was just making sure they didn't do anything else different from the norm. but from what i've figured out the 12x135 axle is the only thing that they do different
