Obama benefit, 4.1.08 in Seattle

Anyone who's in Seattle (or nearby)...

Stop by the Nectar Lounge on April 1 for a benefit for the Barack Obama campaign.

The fundraiser features Seattle electronica DJs Dig Dug, Slantooth, Futuredub (featuring Shapeshifter and Contents) and Vendetta Kane spinning breaks, drum 'n bass, dubstep and hip hop, plus Laura "Piece" Kelley of the Block Teamsters Union and Verbal Oasis.

Doors at 8. The suggested donation is $7.

Visit http://my.barackobama.com/page/event/detail/4xbl for updates about the event.

Event promoter Karen Johanson is one of Washington state's many Obama delegates. The event is part of her fundraising efforts designed to help Obama win remaining primaries and caucuses, especially the Pennsylvania primary on April 22, where 188 Democratic delegates are up for grabs.

P.S. I am having a silent auction as part of the event and am still looking for more auction items. Anyone who's interested in donating item(s), please PM me.

Towing the party line.
Give the money rasied to charity, it will be much better spent. The US really needs to reign in the ridiculous campaign spending, it isn't even a real campaign yet and the delegates are wasting millions.

At this point the super delegates are going to decide it anyways, as neither Obama or Clinton have a clear lead, and there isn't enough regular delegates to give the win to either of them.

What a pity it's not the real Shapeshifter playing. :(

We've had morons from all over the political compass this week, seems like the PAWN forum might be getting it's old black magic back.

Tread lightly and don't get your hopes up, men. This forum hasn't been the same since we tragically lost mudgrrl... we don't want to scare this one off just yet.
