You must be REALLY easy to please.Try Annie's (brand name) Macaroni and Cheese. Really fresh and tasty. I would describe it as orgasmic lol.

Doesn't adding egg to it make it a casserole, and not truly mac&cheese?serves no purpose
Don't know but it sure is a good recipe for basic mac & cheese. Makes a full 9x13 dish and I have no trouble eating it all myself in two sittings.Doesn't adding egg to it make it a casserole, and not truly mac&cheese?
somewhat I guess...I just don't see why the egg in needed...as a binder maybe?...but that should be covered by a nice thick cheese sauce...don't mind me it's just the chef in me postingDoesn't adding egg to it make it a casserole, and not truly mac&cheese?
If you make it from a box, kick yourself in the nuts first.ok I feel I must make M&C to redeem this thread now!

You went to Applebees?I love Mac and Cheese. I'll eat just about anything but I usually get the boxed TJ stuff. My wife makes a great Mac and Cheese with Cabot Chedder and Jack.
For going out Applebees Chedder-Jack Mac and Cheese with Chicken is awesome. Had it for lunch today as part of a combo. The other half was Three Cheese Chicken Penne which was also aweseome. $7 for a huge plate of pasta is a great deal! Got to bring a third of it home.
I agree. Your mac and cheese rocks! My wife and I still talk about the stuff you served us at last years monkeyfest. You'll need to try my mac-n-cheese and then there will be no contest! Unfortunately, there isn't any in my freezer right now...there never seems to be enough left to freeze anyway
I'm sorry your neighborhood has no soul.Applebees and Cracker Barrel are my favorite restaurants in that price range.
Yes, yes it does.Home made Mac and Cheese must make you gassy.
Except when you accidently buy the kind that's low sodium and it tastes like the bottom of a shoe.Agreed, Annie's is good to have on hand for a quick meal, way better than Kraft.
I actually like Cracker Barrel. Applebees sucks donkey schlong, though. irate2:Applebees and Cracker Barrel are my favorite restaurants in that price range.
Some f*#king hippie you turned out to be, Gramps. lthumbsdown:I actually like Cracker Barrel. Applebees sucks donkey schlong, though. irate2:

Why?Fvck Trader Joes.
 I am glad everyone liked it. It's definitely one of my "go to when serving a crowd" dishes!I agree. Your mac and cheese rocks! My wife and I still talk about the stuff you served us at last years monkeyfest.
Yeah. "Best" like this stuff:Everyone knows this stuff is the best ever!!!!
I have an awesome recipe for mac and cheese:Is fresh stuff really that difficult to make? I guess it would be for the culinary challenged.
Wow.I picked up some today after school. Its phenomenal. Tastes damn near the same as Noodle's & Co.
Have you been to Trader Joe's? I was completely shocked but on a lot of things they are way cheaper than the normal grocery store.Trader Joe's is afraid to come to Rochester because of Wegmans. It's probably better that way, at least for my wallet.

I was impressed by the TJ's I visited in Santa Cruz a couple summers back... looked like they had some good stuff and really good prices.Have you been to Trader Joe's? I was completely shocked but on a lot of things they are way cheaper than the normal grocery store.
Explain to me how that is a faint phrase? "damn near the same as" would imply to normal people that it is "very similar to" or "close to the same as" Noodle's and Company mac n' cheese.Wow.
Such faint praise.
You kids really ought to broaden your horizons.
Wifey and I went to Trader Joe's yesterday. We spent $24 and walked out with two grocery bags full of food. No mac and cheese though.Have you been to Trader Joe's? I was completely shocked but on a lot of things they are way cheaper than the normal grocery store.
Ummm... Noodle's and Co. mac and cheese is not so good.Explain to me how that is a faint phrase? "damn near the same as" would imply to normal people that it is "very similar to" or "close to the same as" Noodle's and Company mac n' cheese.

Damn. I can't spend $25 at the grocery store even if I try.Go ahead.... you know you want to try it.
I think its some sort of ingrained thing that I spend right around $25.00 everytime we go there.
Just cause you use your hippie kids to steal everything.....Damn. I can't spend $25 at the grocery store even if I try.
I consider myself lucky to get out of any grocery-type establishment with a $100 bill.Just cause you use your hippie kids to steal everything.....
Your cheap ass employer ought to be forking over a few bucks for a restaurant meal. But if your staying in a hotel for work and you have a kitchenette.
