Trader Joes Mac and Cheese

Doesn't adding egg to it make it a casserole, and not truly mac&cheese?serves no purpose
Don't know but it sure is a good recipe for basic mac & cheese. Makes a full 9x13 dish and I have no trouble eating it all myself in two sittings.
somewhat I guess...I just don't see why the egg in needed...as a binder maybe?...but that should be covered by a nice thick cheese sauce...don't mind me it's just the chef in me posting
At least he isn't raving about the Ragu double cheddar stuff. Come on how lazy do you have to be that you can't make cheese sauce. Freaking rubes.

I agree. Your mac and cheese rocks! My wife and I still talk about the stuff you served us at last years monkeyfest.You'll need to try my mac-n-cheese and then there will be no contest! Unfortunately, there isn't any in my freezer right now...there never seems to be enough left to freeze anyway

As luck would have it, mac and cheese is today's lunch special in the cafeteria. It's only so-so, and flat out sucks compared to TreeSaw's. But I'm not complaining at $3.00 for lunch.
Everyone knows this stuff is the best ever!!!!
Trader Joe's is afraid to come to Rochester because of Wegmans. It's probably better that way, at least for my wallet.
I have an awesome recipe for mac and cheese:
1 part cooked Macaroni noodles
1 part Cheese

I picked up some today after school. Its phenomenal. Tastes damn near the same as Noodle's & Co.
Have you been to Trader Joe's? I was completely shocked but on a lot of things they are way cheaper than the normal grocery store.

I think its some sort of ingrained thing that I spend right around $25.00 everytime we go there.
Just cause you use your hippie kids to steal everything.....Damn. I can't spend $25 at the grocery store even if I try.
But if your staying in a hotel for work and you have a kitchenette. Having a Trader Joes nearby is the bomb diggity. I tried the mac and cheese and it was awesome. So was the ginger cabbage salad. The one in Georgetown/DC is wicked convenient. I find that there is always hot babes in them also....
