Hey so I was thinking on hitting Black Rock this weekend. I've heard some nice things about that place. But I have 2 questions

- I heard Black Rock is mainly Freeride, which is cool with me as long is not too big since I just getting into it, but my wife is more of a XC for now. She is an intermediate rider. You think she will be ok at Black Rock? maybe going around the stunts?

- Conditions? Anyone knows how the trails are holding now?

It is great for xc - they even hold an xc race there. Some of the trails are easy and there are go arounds.

XC is no problem. Long haul on the way up if you're planning to hit any of the trails for gravity. Check out www.brmba.org. Sometimes they'll post conditions on their site. It's suppose to be 75 degrees down there so a great day for riding!!

I've seen her, and it was sexy!!!!!

That place was amazing. I didn't want to come back.

My wife had a good time even though it was a little advanced for her since she is just getting into MTB.

But it was a great place to test my new ride. Definitely have to ride it again.
