Good Morning!!

Hope everyone got through Monday with only minor scrapes and burns.....I got home and ran a few bags of fertilizer out on the yard before I went to pick up Colin at daycare. We played in the sandbox for about an hour after we got back home while the dog waited patiently for the opportunity to chase the family of deer that make their way down the creek line in the back yard about every evening. Justine made a great taco-pizza and we grubbed out after Colin hit the hay. Today is a bit warmer than yesterday, but after that, we're headed off to near 80 degrees by the end of the week. Woot!!

Y'all have a great day!!

'Morning.

We finally got to talk to a guy yesterday about getting all our windows in the house replaced. We're getting a 40% insider's deal (*high five*). Now we patiently await the quote. The guy was wearing a Whistler/Blackcomb vest, which I think is a good sign.

good morning.
Funeral today (sigh) but at least the weather has broken and it should be warmer and sunny.

I'm road riding all day tomorrow after dropping my Mom off at the airport in the morning.
Trails, jumps, bmx track ... all still too wet to ride. :disgust:

Have a great day everybody.

Mornin monkeys! It's been a while since I've posted in a GMT, not that anyone would've noticed. I guess it's b/c I do the same thing every single day...

Exam 2 of 6 today starts in about 45 minutes and from the looks of things, it's gonna be a nice day here in the Boogieburg. Fortunately I get to spend all of it inside studying for a pharmacology exam... 8 more weeks of this crap then step 1 boards, and I'm on to clinical rotations w00t!

Have a good'n monos!

Yo all. Took off yesterday and did a nice 10 mile XC ride in the morning - not a lot of elevation change, but almost all shale babyhead rocks all the way - total momentum killers.

Cleaned up the house from the party the day beforehand, took a walk with Little Mr. So-and-So, etc. and so on.

Today = work, etc. and so on again. Wed = getting in some XC, then maybe some DH runs with a few monkeys in Pittstown? Will have to use the Gruitr in bigger travel mode, though, as I haven't gotten my new DH hoops back from the shop yet...maybe later in the week, hopefully!

Tigg, how did your build turn out?

I'm always skeptical of the insider deals from contractors. Some how it ends up the only thing inside is the shaft.

Nothing much here for today. Just trying to avoid bothering the kidney stone. Can't wait to be rid of it. Interesting to see how I recover as I have a 6 hour race on Saturday. I figure if I can make the road ride okay on Thursday the race should be a piece of cake.

Always a good sign.

Very quiet evening last night except when my daughter dropped a can on her toe and cut it open. She has a aspiring future as a police siren or something equally as loud as I'm sure the neighbors will attest to. Toe patched and on the mend.

Temps in the mid 90's this week, hate to see it hit triples here already.

Ride night tonight.

Have a good day.

Headed over to Steve's tonight for the build. Got the Sinister on the truck here at work. Hope to get the suspension dialed in a little better while there as well. Then it's out to Peabody's in 'Toga for 2 for 1 burger night! :thumb:

Morning monkeys!

Sitting at my desk in the office, waiting for the time I have to leave to monitor a quarry shot. Yesterday I started training our new part timer. I couldn't do part of his training, because I had to run off and do another job.

Tonight I get the crap beat out of me by the Regional Director. I've only been chasing this guy for lessons for about 8 months now. I was supposed to have a lesson with him last Tuesday. I arrived, and he wasn't there. I sent him an e-mail the next day, and he said he forgot. I'm going to send him another e-mail today to remind him about my lesson.

Oh, yeah. Put my taxes in the mail today. First time in my life I've had to pay, so I waited until the last day to file.

Good morning. My Monday was ok. Nothing special but it got sort of warm and the sun came out so we got out yesterday afternoon with the dog. I've got so much going on at work right now that days are just flying by which is great. Currently I am fighting off a head cold which I am a little pissed about. Tomorrow a high 65. TN is trying to get me to play hookie but we have a huge meeting and I can't bring myself to do it. We'll see.

On the way in to work this morning I hit a Cardinal not with my car, but with my bike on the roof. At 60mph you don't have much of a chance to avoid a small bird. Poor thing never stood a chance, I heard it hit, saw a bunch of feathers and the bird was not moving. The weird thing is where I hit the bird on my bike....the back brake.

The missus, me and the dog spent all day yesterday feeling absolutely rotten after eating a dodgy pizza. Today has been spent just chilling as there is no energy between us.

Received the first package of my new ride's components. Formula The Ones. Lovely looking set. Just have to wait for everything else to arrive now, then I can start building her up.

Talked to Dave from Burgtec who is sending me out possibly the last available RideWide bars in existence. Everyone else will have to wait for the next batch in a month or two:biggrin:. Great guys.

Happy Tuesday monkeys!

morning. started on my garden Sunday and finished tilling it up yesterday evening. Planning on getting some stuff planted this weekend if my son has recovered enough from his surgery - tonsils/adenoids are getting zapped off tomorrow morning. We are praying for a speedy recovery and more so that the procedure eliminates his high fevers as his doctor says it will.

What is the width, Damo? I always find myself riding way at the end of my bars on the DH bike.

750mm (29.5inches) wide, 20mm rise, 9 deg backsweep, 4 deg rise.
I'm so happy they could do it, because otherwise my bike would have been waiting 40 days for the next batch to be made.

Looking forward to trying wider bars. I'm like you - riding at the end of the bars...

I am back from vacation last night and at work today. I hate coming right back without a day to decompress.

I will post some pix once I get them downloaded.
