I'm getting kind of tired of people posting threads titled

"This is the best thing ever"
"Check out this neat flying machine"
"Can you believe this news article"

and then all there is a 2 or 3 words that are hyper linked to another site.

I come to the monkey because I generally trust the content. I'm always worried about clicking links because of the possible questionable content.

I don't want to be an old stogie but it seems to be happening more and more frequently.

I agree with you Stosh. Although I'm guilty of posting a "coolest thing ever" thread, it really is the coolest :) and there is a bunch of content.

Whenever I post an article, I cut and past at least some of it, just common courtesy

Ha! Well we are planning on having more kids. If we have another girl we'll get a possible 4 yrs of use out of it, that aint to bad for $70.

Ps. You don't need to be a prick all the time.

It'd be nice if we had a u2b/video sticky and everyone posted videos they think are worth posting in it instead of new threads.

not in many years! I've been working on Laek House (I'm working with Velocity on reflective rims) and not riding MTBs. In fact now I pretty much just ride road and picked up a sweet Surly Steamroller.

Actually, it seems that lately, threads with little to no real content seem to survive the longest. The others turn into political arguments. I started one about a neat engine, I think it want all religious or something, I stopped reading it...

I like the Random/fail/harbl picture threads.

Yup! There was a big competition in DC this weekend that I was to busy to attend. NYC reigns supreme! Its a blast and you should come down on a Sunday and check it out. Though we play pretty exclusively on blacktop there is a grass version too.

yah, a lot of peeps booze while they play and there are plenty of benches, cheap food and stinkystinky homeless people about.

At any rate, if you want to play, all are welcome! Bring a beater that you're comfortable on cuz there is a good chance something bad might happen. No disc brakes if you can avoid it!

Brinley is our "parasite" as you so affectionately referred to her when Aubrey was 3 months pregnant and throwing up in dark alleys in NYC the last time we all had dinner together.



Here she is taking all the attention away from a photo of me.
