This weekend there is a Specialized Demo at the St Edwards park in Kirkland. I was going to go check it out, those demos are always fun. But I am not familiar with the trail. Any tips on were to go so I can really test the bikes? Maybe some jumps and drops, log rides would be fun too.

It's pretty tame single track ...there used to be a few things like teeters and log rides... but they got taken out. It's been about a year since I've been up there though...there are a couple decent 30 second downhill single track dealies farther into the Big Finn Hill trail system....

ya, not much fun stuff out there. expect to see the whole xc lineup but dont get your hopes up for demos, p-bikes, or sx-trails. although santa cruz did bring out a v-10 when they did a demo there.

Yeah I remember that demo from Santa Cruz. I am not expecting any big bike but I think it will still be fun to go.

So which is a good place to go for someone that is wanting to get into some DH / Freeriding. I think I also need to start meeting soe people into that type of riding because all of my riding friends are more into the XC side. I like the XC but I like pushing it more.

south seatac. its pretty short, so you see every person that shows up while your there. there are easy lines for beginners, and lines that are bigger that you can move up to when your comfortable. everytime i go there people are really nice and talkative, its a great place to meet riding buddies if your looking for some.

I was there for the last one. They had the 08 Demo 7 and SXT on hand. I hit the trail with those and the Enduro SL, nice bike but I would stick with the SXT for a trail bike. Mostly XC single track in the area, but you can make it fun if you hit some of the routes on the Finn Hill side.
