This was so different than just reading about it in Dirt, it gave life to it. TV don't get to be more alive than this was, truly with the spirit of DH as Missy Giove described it (on how and when DH got started and how they didn't want it to be a stiff muddy equivalent of the road/XC organizations).

It's not technically possible (the live Satt stream is not recorded.) Only the dirty video feed on site is sent to tape, and there are 3 of them.
The time for cataloging, compression, color correction, storage space, server cycles and bandwidth makes it not feasible.

Rob Warner and Freecaster is the best thing ever! I had to email freecaster just to say thanks.
The server load was MUCH higher than expected, the servers are still choking. Sorry guys. We have more hardware on order for Andorra to make sure this doesn't happen again.
Just think how fast sam would have been without MC Hammers pants.
On a serious note thanks to everyone who put this together it was fantastic seeing all this live. The answer to Warner & CG discussion on Hills speed was quite clear after watching a couple of hours of coverage then seeing him disappear into the woods after the start double, berm then right, left..hes just simply quicker on every corner on the course. The way he cut tighter on that simple right left was noticeably quicker than the majority, then multiply that by whatever..

Thanks... stayed up till 1:30am to watch, spent 20 mins trying to get ANY sort of feed and then went to bed to cry myself to sleep.
(not bitching - afterall... free coverage is free, just sad)
