I helped someone with a personal laptop last week and that person dropped by my office with a thank you card and $25 gift card to In-n-Out! It doesn't happen often but it's very nice to receive these little tokens of appreciation once in awhile.

Have you received any gifts lately? besides herpes and crabs.

I always like taking the In and Out Burger stickers, taking the B and the R off of the Burger, and putting that on my car.

Yeah I know I've thought about that. It's so much better than McDonald's and Burger King; I wonder why it's not out here yet.

It's not out of the realm of possibilities though. There's a Pollo Loco going up around the corner from my office here in Boston. Previously I had only seen them on the West Coast.

I got $100 Wholefoods Gift Card for help an exec a few months ago.

At the last company I worked at I got $200 AMEX Gift Check, even better :D

The best was selling my old Titus to the founder of that company. He is an avid MTBer for his age but had no mechanical knowledge when it came to bikes (his headshock on one of his bikes seemed like it was about to fall off when he asked if it was OK). He came to my house a few times and I showed him how to put it together since I was trying to part it out before then. He has Citation 525 jet and flies it himself.

A sonics in SoCal would make a KILLING!

I've had customers drop off pizza, soda, Lumpia, deserts....

Most memorable was the customer who brought us back souvineers from their Euro Trip. My boss got some figureine... I got a glass bong ... they went to amsterdam...

Say What?! Where was I? Sh!t that makes me mad. Oh well, Was that the guy with those carbon cranks?

I helped some people move about a year ago and I was just strumming a Gibson Les Paul that they had before we packed it up, and they said I could have it. So sick! I love the guitar!

I drove past one last night, but didn't stop.

Personally, I LOVE Portillo's in the Chicago area. My IL friends and I are jealous of each other's local restaurant...

My buddy and I drove from Ventura to Bakersfield once just to get Sonic.
It ruled.
