Gotta see "Running Man" too. I DL over the winter and watched it again for posterity.
Running Man is a great rainy day flick.

Neg rep if you have to, but I finally saw Blade Runner last night. Ford was definitely "green" when he made the movie, but it was otherwise a pretty damn good movie. What is this Director's Cut or whatever that you speak of? He's a replican? Get the f***e out of here.

its never been clarified if decker is a replicant or not, ridley scott left it open to the viewer to decide if they thought he was.

Follow up:

Saw the movie Friday afternoon, and my thoughts:

-Far fetched? Yes; but not that much moreso than the other movies
-Too much CG? yes. But I don't feel that it really detracted from the overall movie.
-Was I entertained? Absolutely. IJ was never intended to be anything more than an action packed, quasi-goofy, very campy, take on adventure series type saturday morning radio/tv shows. I went into the theater expecting this, and I wasn't disappointed.

FWIW, I remember watching the original Indy trilogy when I was 8-9 years old, and absolutely LOVED it. Do I think Indy 4 could've been done better? Sure, but then again it could've been another Star Wars: Episode 1. That being said, I wouldn't be upset if there was an Indy 5.

Seen/heard a number of media pieces (NPR and the papers) about real archaeologists' feelings about Indiana Jones. Washington Post had a story today about a guy who feels the series is injurous to their image.

As my wife succinctly put it, "That's like saying Star Wars gives astronauts a bad rap."

Brilliant!

And yes, if you liked the originals then this is worth seeing. Over the top and corny, good the whole way through.

LOL.

The only archaeologist I ever met always wore a pair of Alden "Indy" boots...

I used to steal his lunch from the common area in the dorm and remark that there was nothing he possessed that I could not take away.

Muuuuhahahahaha.

I would've warned him... if only he spoke Hovitos!

Saw it last night. ****ing awful. Car drives off the cliff onto the tree which lowers it to the ground? WTF? These has-been directors need to be banned from using CGI.
