I'm 6'3" 170 and am probably looking at picking up an older demo 9. Should I go with a medium or large? Or what are people who are of a similar size riding?

I'm 6'1" and I feel best on larges. I've sat on tons of people's bikes, and rode many of them, and the mediums always bug me, I feel to compressed, like my knees are way to close to the bars and my elbows can't extend right.

Anyway, I'd say 95% chance you'll feel best on a large.

Large, no question. I recently borrowed a medium frame while mine is being repaired and I can hardly ride it I am so cramped. (Not Demo 9s, but comparable geometry.) Maybe some guys like riding clown bikes, but not me.

Alright so the consensus is a large would be best. Do any of you think that it would be too much bike for my scrawny 170lb body to throw around?
