Bragging rights are at stake! Who has the fastest team in the east? The controversial question will finally be answered on June 15th at Diablo Freeride Park.

Here’s how it works…Whether you have an already-established team representing a company, shop or resort, or you are just a crew of off-the-street rippers, now is your chance to throw-down the gauntlet and represent! Simply team-up with 3 of your trusty team riders or friends and head to Diablo for this unique, 4-man downhill team challenge. Each team rider will race to post an individual time and a cumulative combined time will be formed for each team collectively. The team possessing the lowest overall time will be declared winner. Simple format, competitive racing…no excuses!

Over $5,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to amateur and pro teams alike with a $1,000 cash payount offered to the top pro team! Do you think your crew throws-down the fastest times? Alrighty then, back away from the keyboard, stop hiding behind screen names, and prove it!

Pre-registration is limited to the first 30 teams, so don't delay! The ParkLogic Crew has conjured-up a unique blend of Diablo's famed technical trails combined with some wide-open lines to offer-up one hell of a race course!

forgot to add this on to my last post, but I know the race format is already set but I do think it would have been interesting to send all 4 racers down the course at the same time, then stop the clock on the last person through...just my 2 cents

yea basically but there would be a little strategy involved like do you all ride one right on top of the other thus if a front rider crashed everyone wud be pretty much screwed, or do you space out the riders etc idk i just thought it wud be a unique format

individual lap times seems more practical, seeing as sending all 4 down in one shot on trails made for single space seems a bit erm, cramped?

Make sure everything is where you left it inside that noggin' before your wreck - especially if you're going to rail some berms soon...

i was just throwin the idea out there i thnk it would be cool because you'd hav to plan who goes in what position, spacing between riders maybe switch the order up part way down idk

nope, still pretty ridiculous

in that format the team would still be a slow as the slowest rider pretty much making the whole team format moot. no matter how you slice and dice it everyone on the same course would result in only one riders time counting for anything.

the best and only way to do it right is individual runs with times added up at the end, especially when you have a team that can all finish runs with times on approx. the same second or two... not sure why this is such a tough concept.

skc... no worries on the head, it is fine. the shoulder, ribs, and leg are the things that will not be feeling so hot

nah believe me i get that only one rider's time would count i do see that i'm not retarted but sometimes people ride faster with other people etc i don't agree that the way diablo's doing it isn't the best, but i thought the other way might be interesting because it'd be different not neccesarily the fairest etc

who else u got on your team besides lee? how u ridin already with a bum leg? awesome, see u sat!
sasha, is that you ?

the team we race for actually consists of myself and lee along with two very very fast canadian juniors, so this 4 man team challenge is perfect for us to all ride together.

i am far from 100%, the leg is doing ok but my seperated shoulder, and ribs are still pretty worked... but i figured the team format would be a fun way to ease back into it... go my own pace and let the other 3 make up for it:biggrin:
