so... I probably wont see a response to this until after I've ridden the trails, but maybe. so I just want to know some basic things like: How many trails will there be this weekend? It sounds like there are now two DH trails and one NorthShore/freeride trail. do you have the proposed pump track built yet? or any dirt jumps?

No that any of this matters, Cuz we're going to be out there anyways for the freeride day. we will be the guys from Chicago with our full sqishes and our DJ/Park bikes.

So let me know what the deal is... or we'll just find out for ourselves tomorrow. later

Read brungeman's post in this thread to get the latest trail descriptions.

Basically there are 3 complete trails and 1 other section that can be mixed and matched to make lots of different run combinations. The pump track is built. As far as dirt jumps the 007 trail is full of table tops, but there are no gap jumps.

I'll be there tomorrow, I ride a blue Iron Horse Kumicho, see you there!

It's pretty funny seeing suburbanites rolling down on a rigid on the same trails as full armored DHer's
Yeah, and I heard that some of the suburbanites didn't fare too well on Saturday, either. Broken collarbone(s), missing teeth, concussion(s)...

Today (Sunday) we watched a woman get carried off the last line of jumps on a back board, hope she turned out OK.

I saw a guy brake his arm as I was washing my bike about 5:30ish. There was no lack of injuries today.... luckily I managed to get in 29 miles of DH today without falling on my already injured hand! What a good day.......!

I would like to thank all of you who showed up to show support the program. The MGMT of 7 Springs really got to see the number of riders in the area who ride DH or show an interest in riding DH!

On behalf of the guys pushing shovels and moving rocks, thank you for the kind words and the constructive critique! I can't speak for the others, but it really helps to motivate me, and keeps me focused! I know the stuff that I like to ride, we are making great strides toward that, and there is a lot more to come! :thumb:

I did hear of a few injuries, and if anyone has contact with someone that was injured, please pass on my best wishes.

It was great to meet some of you, and those of you that I didn't get to meet... next time! :thumb:

29miles with those lines is impressive. On a normal weekend the wait ranges from none to maybe 4 people in front of you.... I must admit I left early, I am too spoiled, but it was great seeing that many people up there riding and hopefully that showing will encourage 7Springs to keep going with the park.
