haha, "much better riders than themselves"? i dunno 'bout that one captain...

i'm stoked for Robbie getting a new deal and its badass to see he is still out there shredding like he always has, but like Jeremy R said; he has to have one of the best agents in the bike biz. i need to get ahold of that guy and get myself a damn deal with intense! anything's possible, this is proof!

Good for him to be on such a good contract. Intense hasn´t been in the landing gear industry lately, but I guess they are now?
I actually find his film segments very interesting. How does he keep on going, smashing nuts on the toptube like that? Maybe Pad Man´s got some secrets to share for him.

yep, nothing but haters in here...

not bashing the guy or anything, i don't doubt he's a good rider, but show me something skillful besides a huck?....

In think it´s ok. He´s just one of a kind, you know. Definitely worth wathing. Doing what he does with that height is impressive.

Well, ol' Bourdo is obviously doing something right because he's getting free bikes from Intense and here we sit talking about how much he "sucks" instead of riding our bikes. Hmmm...

somebody with one leg doing a marathon is impressive but not entertaining. just like a midget on a bike doing hucks. (bad comparison maybe but you get the point I hope)

why would intense want to have a hucker on the team? they dont even make huck bikes or do they?

Because they think it´s entertaining with impressive activities?

Face it, people still love seeing hucks. If they didn't he wouldn't be getting a new sponsor. If you are bitter and think he's a sh*tty rider then strap on a pair, go out and do some 50+ foot hucks better than him and get yourself a free intense. Put up or shut up.

All the crap talkers need a lesson from Josh and Robbie - they WILL school you.

Good for Robbie.

All I know is that when the non-riders I know watch NWD...they aren't impressed with a flowy rhythm section or fast DH rider...they are impressed watching Robbie air out a massive drop or try to pull a 360 flat spin on a 50+ foot gap.

He is just like Richie Schley. They don't have much in their bag of tricks, nor are they the fastest, but they have been around so damn long you can't leave them out. They are not great riders, I actually thing Bourdon is a pretty crappy rider/hack, but he is an icon. That's the end of it. Good for him, maybe Intense is going to dab into the freeride scene with a new bike.

Plus maybe he is active and good at doing work for his sponsors. Intense seems like a smart company and I would think they don't just take on anybody. Then who knows if he gets much besides free bikes.

He seriously does have the best agent ever. How people that have faded completely from the spotlight and are not competitive in any respect continue to get money from Red Bull is beyond me. Good for him for figuring out how to make a living doing what he loves though. I had actually thought he had stopped riding until this was posted....
