I did, about 20 miles through the Mojave. Good ride, one good crash, lots o' sand. No snakes, a little sun burn. All in all, 2 thumbs up :thumb::thumb:

Yeppers.

We did a 30 mile road ride. It was an organized event. Took us about two hours at our "social" pace. It was supposed to be a 40 mile ride but the course was poorly marked and we missed a turn somewhere. Apparently there is a rather painful 5 mile climb that we missed. I actually like good hard road climbs so I was disappointed that we missed it and it was too friggin hot to try to backtrack.

Still a good ride though.

Pics from todays ride. Most of these are Baddna demonstrating features for Badcrumble. Hmmm thats alot of badness.

As usual I dont know the names of anything.

First off. We almost had her talked into trying this but she decided to pass and maybe give it a whirl later.

Badcrumble decided shed rather go back and do this smaller thing that shes done before. She went off the higher section on these attempts.

Baddna showing badcrumble a line to a roller.

I have horrible timing with a camera. Her tires leave the ground on all these jump pics.

I tried this for the first time today. The first run off this landed badly, landed nose heavy pretty much landed on the top of the transition almost endoed, but I recovered and made it up the otherside. Me and my brilliant ideas decided since it went less than smoothly Id give it another whirl. Fortunately Baddna got a good picture out of it but he lost me the opportunity to make it onto a crash thread. How dare he worry about my well being and passing on a carnage/ dust cloud picture? Needless to say I slid on my shoulder coming to a crashing hault. Landed better than the first run though Im just not sure what happened after landing. lol

Finally the log ride out. Baddna cleared it relatively easy and he think he might have broken a finger while killing a tree stump or rock he was smashing.... Show off.

Badcrumble was afraid to try it but was peer pressured into it. You wouldnt know from the pictures. She cleared if after a few tries. Start...

Finish of same run.

Got on my bike for the first time since I broke my collarbone on June 14th. Took the road bike out for a quick spin yesterday. It hurt.

I did two hours on the road, only because I felt guilty for not training this morning. I'm envious of Burly's hike, looks like a great place

No riding so far but I'll probably hop on and do about 45mins of road while running errands. I ran my shin into a low bar while unlocking my bike last night and I've got a bone bruise so I will probably be trying to ride less until it heals up. I was planning on doing a lot of dirtjumping today but thinking about it, with my cheap bike and messed up shin, it's not a good idea at all.

I really need to get a stronger bike, man. Riding this hardtail Rincon for everything is bugging me now. Admittedly, though, the new saddle I bought (to replace the crappy stock one) is amazingly comfortable.

I'm about 35 miles Southeast of Fresno, in a little craphole called Dinuba, CA. It's something I don't like to talk about... :twitch:

Yourself?
Edwards AFB...35 mile n. of Lancaster...or Landscatter as they say.

I dont care to talk about it either...ugly place. But on the plus side, I can ride year round.

That's always a plus. With a 3-hour drive max., I can be at the ocean or the mountains - which is the only redeeming quality about this place.

Good riding out there?

Raced XC. Didn't start well, but got my sh*t together after a little bit. Won my age group, and took 9th overall in Expert. 4-10 overall were tight- less than a minute of seperation.

Got a good ride planned for tomorrow too.

i haven't ridden in a week. the ankle continues to be swollen and bruised. the swelling has gone down but i have noticed it's starting to ache more as the swelling diminishes. It's still very black and blue as well.

I'd really like to ride this week, but my fear is needing to get off the bike in a hurry...well being right-handed...it's my right foot that steps off first. and THAT could be a problem

90 mins to beach, same to San Bernadinos. Some good riding here, but little elevation to speak of. Up towards Bakersfield and Kernville there is some good stuff...

rode Tower today with a buddy of mine and dropped into Nisene. the trail was uber powdery and rutty, so it went great.

I love 4 piston brakes.

but my buddy neglected to tell me that where we parked was on top of a giant hill so we had to climb back to the car.

Did a street (moto) ride today out around Silver Falls with some friends and joined up with a group from SEX. Got about 50 miles in until Anna overshot a corner and put it in a ditch. Some quick clean-up and a little first aid, then headed back to town.

Overall a great ride. Some busted plastics and some bruises, nothing major.
