the third saturday in Oct does have a certain lure. combined with an alcohol fueled, redneck weekend in the deep south and a little riding should make for a good time. Any of you OG's from the area should be in attendance.

rednecks and trash in a mass on a Saturday night. Which reminds me..anybody see the Les Miles booster meeting where they brought in Snoop Dogg as a guest speaker?

That dude is teflon!! Drugs, murders, children out of wedlock, gang ties...and he gets invited to multi million dollar booster functions for one of America's premiere collegiate academic/athletic institutions???

When he was on the sidelines of the one USC game, I swear I saw him Shiv the Athletic Director and get an honorary degree at the same time....

Wow that is a nice picture taken right before we kicked your arses :banana:

What was that score? 59-20, that sounds about right.
they may have won that game, but in the end, florida has no mountains, so it sucks, it just plain sucks, its flat, and it sucks. by the looks of the off season snoop could hang out at just about any SEC school and feel right at home

what was it? third i think behind the bulldogs maybe?

Wow just like a UT fan to be dumb. You dont even know that UT lost to LSU in the Championship game? :pirate2:

The Gators wanted to take a year off from winning EVERYTHING, but accidently still won the Heisman.

Regardless of your team, it is great that in less than a month FOOTBALL is here!

University of Florida...more criminals per capita student body than UNC, UT, NC State, Memphis, Virginia & Maryland combined. :lighten:

Let me just get this straight... Rob do you hold a degree from UF or are you a fan by association? Just asking.
Transferred out of UF between Sophmore/Junior year, and my degree is from another school.

So no degree, but more than just "association."

Did they give you a 2 year "associate" degree?

BTW, what was the other school?
Not that I know of. I transferred to Barry University, due to it's proximity to a job I accepted in South Florida.

Is there a point to your questioning? I am not claiming to be an alum. I am a fan because I went to school there. I remember the first time I walked into the stadium as a freshman with my seat 8 rows from the top, in the corner of the endzone. Lots of my friends are fellow Gators and the games are a reason to get together. More relevant to this conversation I remember all the good times that we watched the Gator Football team kick the Vol's Football teams' arse  The glory of experiencing poor UT fans grasping onto any thread of reasoning to try to eleviate the pain of past memories is always additional bonus.

Ah, I see. "Special" teams it was.

Profro you seem to be doing a lot of prodding. Are you a bitter UT:
  • Fan?
  • Alum?
  • Football team benchwarmer?
  • Former football Star that has leverage that experience into being a highly paid Pro Mountain Bike DH racer?
  • Is this you without the helmet?

nah, I just like giving it to Gator fans. It seems its easier for you to give than receive. But I do have 2 degrees from UT.

But I bet I could through that football over those mountains.

I gave up on UT after Casey Clausen left or graduated or whatever he did.

Does Phillip Fulmer still do that awful show on Sunday mornings?

I hope you were not laying the hopes of the program in the sole hands of the Clausen family, they were bums. Need a 6'5" QB that can run and pass.

That's cool, good jousts is a big part of what makes college football season fun.

However it must suck getting up in the morning knowing that for the past two decades there has been much ownage of UT by the Gators. Well except for women's BB, but it is a given Pat is the studliest person on the UT campus.
