I went to Anaheim to see the Cup last season. I was all prepared to break down crying and have to be pried away from the case...and the facking thing wasnt there. It was in Ontario for cleaning...

I wouldnt touch it even if I could. I think.

Speaking of Lord Stanley’s Cup…….
I’m standing in line at the Calgary airport and I’m thinking to myself that this dude with the big blue case looks vaguely familiar. We get to the point where you drop off your bags. This dude flat refuses to put this big ‘ol case on the belt. “Well go get your boss then! I’m not leaving this case!” were the heated words. So as the airport monkey goes running off in search of his boss, I ask the guy “So what’s in the case?” He cracks it open and…………


Get the F**K outta here! I snap off a couple of pics and people start to gather around. He looks up to see the advancing crowd and quickly slams it shut. I made some comment about rabid fans and he said “Yeah, I have to be careful. Some of the folks can get pretty crazy.” Security comes over and pulls him out of line and as we’re walking away, I hear him say “This is the Stanley Cup! I am not walking off and leaving it with you!”
