nope. :imstupid: I see only one angle (vector) in that photo.
Do you have anything approaching a hard sciences or engineering degree? Or practical experience in hard sciences or engineering.

I don't know what stinkle is on about since I don't know **** about explosives, but I do know that it takes two vectors to define a plane. I also know that the column break shown is not orthogonol to the column in any of the 3 major axis.

If you can't smell the rotten after watching just this first 2min footage, you're living in denial.

CNN footage of the explosions that contradict the denial of them in the NIST report:
NIST also said:
"No blast sounds were heard on the audio tracks of video recordings during the collapse of WTC 7 or reported by witnesses."

NYPD testimony:
http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/february2007/100207heardbombs.htm

First hand video testimony of an official who was inside wtc7 during those 'non existent blasts':

Some more vid and pix of building 7:

Nope, but I did get 98th percentile for science on the SAT, near perfect in science on the ACT too. But planes are not from the science section of those tests. They would be in the mathematics section... geometry.

Me, I see something that looks like a plane that bisects that column.

RR: it looks like you & i differ fundamentally on the interpretation of the construction, use, & effectiveness of shaped charges.
I don't really know much about them, but I am trainable. Convince me, and I may share your wisdom with the other truthers.

Until then, I see something that appears to have severed that column and left evidence of molten steel in its wake. I have also read numerous reports of molten steel in the rubble of all three buildings and I know of nothing in the conditions that were reportedly present that can explain it and I know that the official reports continue to ignore it.

This extraordinary occurrence demands at least an ordinary explanation.

Shaped charges don't make linear cuts or create pools of molten steel. They invariably blow round holes through their targets. If the didn't, they wouldn't be shaped charges.

Cutting charges of other types do exist.

D00d. That shaped charge totally dropped that building. Like over 400 feet. It was so rad.

Ok, then. Keeping in mind that I am not an expert, expect that I will use the wrong terminology. Matter of fact, I probably don't know enough to recognize when someone else does it wrong too.

So help a brotha out here. Could you throw me a frikkin bone?

Cutting charges of other types do exist.
Oh they do? :brow: Could you tell me more about those? I've heard about thermite and thermate. Are there cutting charges that could sever a column in the manner pictured?

I could, to the extent I'm capable, but when I'm done, neither you nor I will have the expertise to truly analyze any of this, and I'm not going to feed your monster, no matter how high your SAT scores were.

What bothers me is not, however, speculation, but the use of technical terms as decisive parts of an argument, done by people who obviously don't have the least bit of knowledge or experience. You act like you know EXACTLY what you're talking about when you make your grand arguments using appropriated terminology, and when called on the fact that you don't, you act like a naive innocent.

In the end, you're regurgitating someone else's bull****, and neither one of you has a clue.

That's funny. I could have sworn you said ONE vector. Oh, right, you DID:
nope. I see only one angle (vector) in that photo.
Might be time to bust out that Kaplan's SAT study manual for old time's sake, ace.

MikeD said it better than I could have. Using fancy words you don't understand only hurts your argument. Leave it to the experts, which includes none of us. I go down the same path every time I have global warming arguments, and who think they've won because I say we should leave it to the PhDs who have spent a lifetime on the subject.

these PhDs aren't very smart if they spend a lifetime on the subject when all you need is 3 hours of rush to set you straight.

So I took your bait and proved that I am both human and fallible. Are you surprised? Here is the thing though. If I am wrong, I WANT to hear about it and learn from my mistake. It makes me a better person. I did a poor job in explaining about my irrelevant test scores, and I apologize. What I had been trying to say was that Geometry is in the mathematics section, and that is not my strongest suit. I merely scored at an average level there. In the Language section I did much better. :clue:

The whole point is that I am intelligent enough to be educated, but nobody here is expert enough to do so, and therefore it would be best for us to all to shut up and accept what the government tells us happened on 9-11, even though they have been proven liars and no matter how illogical their explanation appears.

At least I scored my 2nd custom title from this thread. Woohoo!
Thanks! I'm off to frolic in the blissful garden of ignorance.

then have a friend read aloud this thread to you

i have spent the last 15 yrs around educated dumn ppl

so the whole "shaped charge" photo explanation means nothing to you? and when you come here purporting to have no a priori conclusions about what you claim to be honest questions, and they are reasonably explained (or at least their CT answers are demonstrated to be fallacious), you think it's reasonable to respond with a betrayal of the very logic you claim to hold dear by getting all pissy?

It means that someone got the terminology wrong, and gee a non-expert just might do that. No a shaped charge is not a cutter charge. Got it. I still have not heard about cutter charges and how they work, but based on MikeD's comments, I suspect that something that could cause a column to be cut like that does exist. But I don't know that it does for sure. Anyhow, it is not your responsibility to educate me in these matters.

you think it's reasonable to respond with a betrayal of the very logic you claim to hold dear by getting all pissy?
That my friend, is known as sarcasm. Enjoy.

Just curious, can anyone date that photo you posted? Could it have been taken after this guy and his co-workers left for the day?:clue:

Of course something can cut the column as depicted. It was cut.

Of course, it could have been cut like that during construction of the building as part of a joint or something--I wouldn't know--or it could have been cut by a guy with a torch afterward, or by something happening during the collapse of the building, or by explosive means.

Fixed it for ya
Yeah, OK, I guess you're right. It's not like any EOD technician could look at the actual girder and tell you in 5 seconds what had likely cut it. Such work is generally best done by you on the Internet.

I bet Cheny planted them himself, in fact. If you use Photoshop Elements, you can blow up the pic and see his fingerprints.

Damn you, BV. He was the first ray of light in this otherwise hopeless void of a thread.
I'm deliberately oppressing the best posters on the board. We've heard rumors of a planned coup d'état and this creative, free-thinking bullsh*t is only exacerbating the problem.

Pit Steelers was a primary threat with N8 out of the way. MMike is next on the list.
