New trail at Snowshoe.

I got to look at the new trail at Snowshoe connecting "Ninja Bob" to "Powerline" this weekend. It is totally off the chart as far as anything they have built up there to date! :shocked: It is designed to be a no brakes roller coaster ride full of bermy goodness down one of the steepest side hills on that side of the mountain. It is huge!!! The pictures don't do it justice.

It is slated to be open this next weekend for the race. Bring your DJ hardtail!

Is that the redbull trail? I was talking with one of there regional managers, he said they were working with snowshoe to make a trail or something.

No it's not. I believe the Redbull trail is going in the area where Trail "A" and "B" are in the park side.

I also thought I would give everybody a heads up on how to find the new trail this weekend. At the end of Ninja Bob cross the road and drop into Ball N Jack, do the jumps at the top of Ball N Jack. At the end of the first section of jumps take a hard right into the new trail.

I was up there a coupld of weeks ago and saw the trail entrance but it taped off with closed signs.

That's what the trail map says.
Will ruin the best two trails on that side.

I guess they don't have enough space to put it some place else......?...:huh:

'B' was closed off this past week. 'A' is still open though. would be a shame to mess up the A-H line on that side.

I'm trying to make it up this weekend to the race but don't have a bike to race. I talked to Stone to see if he had any ideas & he's telling me to just bring my hardtail if that's all I got. He said I can run Western Territory top to bottom on that new trail all weekend. I'm down to try it...but dammit I want to race. Anybody got a wealthy friend with a extra DH bike lying around I could borrow for the weekend? Or a broken buddy who would like to make sure their bike has a fun time???

Can't help with the bike. However, thanks for the heads up. I have time to print up some "cut in front of Butch in the lift line passes" :D :banana:

No worries. I found a bike donor. His bike has felt lonely and needed some affection so I am good to go. If you're bringing yours I'll be sure to bring my:

"This line for smarmy, old douches who feel entitled" sign. :thumb:

i also got a peek at the new trail as well. ride totally bad ass for sure and it also looks like it will drain like a dream as well.

btw its pretty much at big line that should flow extremely well with a ton of speed

It's designed to be ridden with no brakes. Just grip and rip!!! :banana:

It requires ACTUALLY being on a bike...
