Red Bull is one of the most strict companies with regards to their logo. The only way to ever get a Legit RB helmet is to become sponsored by them. If you were to paint one yourself and were ever seen by an employee I'm sure there would be some sort of Legal recourse.

A couple of my close friends work for RB and they sponsor some of our races and they once painted a giant bull on our wallride for a race and came out the day after the race to paint over the logo.

Why does this thread seem to come back every year?

If you paint your own helmet noone can mess with you. Just don't try to sell it. Then they can nail you for sure.

why the fuk would someone WANT to spend sh1tload of $ to buy a helmet, then spend more sh1tload of $ to paint it to redbull look, to advertise a billionaire corporation who doesn't give a sh1t about you and you get nothing in return for free, nor get paid to advertise the company?

They like the style. They are fans of the riders that rock the original ones. They like the company and want to support it. Because they don't have a mentality like yourself.

If you have a single sticker from any company on your bike, your toolbox, your helmet, your ass, or anywhere else, you're a hypocrite.

what style they like? each of those helmets is different brand. redbull is not style, wtf, it's a dumb drink, there's no style in drinks. style is in a rider alone and redbul doesn't give you wings nor style after you drink it, you are born with style and have it or not. helmet doesn't give you style, colors don't give you style, you can be black, white and have or not have style, you can ride in corduroy pants and slippers and have more style than the kid with a homemade painted redbull helmet!

but yes kid if paiting your own redbull helmet is fun to you and wearing is fun to you then more power to you for being so amused by it. paint it all you want nobody is gonna come arrest you for wearing a fake RB helmet, nobody cares.

yes i do have stickers but wrong not a hypocrite as stickers are from who supports me so we work hand in hand they support, i advertise, free sh1t is good, why not advertise who helps you out.
so to you guys it's all about just the looks that matter to you people? you'd sell out for the looks over functionality.
but the helmet is on your head, you don't even see it!? or do you film yourself and then watch and say "wow i look so pro i look like i ride for redbull", but you DON'T so what is the point? if you like redbull then just buy them and drink them they'll get your support with your money to be able to profit and to help pro redbull riders. it sounds you like yourself more than you like redbull if you want redbull helmet so bad. blue and silver paint ain't gonna make you any cooler to us, nor any better than us.

i actually ride faster with a more factory looking helmet
enough with the factory. i think they can just make a redbull hekmet and have it. no need to flame them for it. and i should be the one to judge as i am the king of flaming. if he wants to make a redbull helmet hell with it. let him do it and live life. i say fvck everyone else. do what you think is cool

I'm not talking about a brand of helmet, I'm talking about the livery. I.E. RedBull livery, make and model is irrelevant.... Not sure how you went off on some tangent regarding riding style, drink style, and slipper style, bravo for the train of thought :clapping:

Not sure why you feel the need to voice your anti-capitalist hipster corporation views with respect to someone liking the livery of a RedBull helmet. I suppose that's what the internet is for though.

exactly, that's what internet and forums and boredom is for so u can piss people off or teach them about how life shouldn't be based on materialism in this case, that's what's wrong with this world, too many people WANT sh!t they don't NEED. but yea u get the idea why i felt the need to voice my opinion.
well i'm off to get some silver blue red yellow paint so i can get my helmet ready and dry for this weekend's race :)

Stuff they don't need? Our entire hobby is based on things we don't NEED. Nobody NEEDS bicycles that cost thousands of dollars with suspension and fancy materials. Nobody NEEDS lift assisted bike parks. In fact, we don't NEED mountain biking at all.

One of the nice things about capitalist society is that it allows us to own and enjoy things that are beyond what's needed for survival.

Your attitude is made even more hilarious by the fact that you seem to own your own clothing business. Nobody NEEDS to buy your clothing, but I bet you're hoping that somebody does. That's just how things work here.

dude trust me you'd survive if you were homeless and stole an old huffy bike to ride from garbage to garbage on rims. oh wait, is this amiel cavalier from giant factory? ok now i know why you NEED to ride bike to live, it's a job, true.

capitalism or not, yes it's what makes world go round, what i'm saying the point for the RB helmet was why do you need it when it fits exactly the same as a non RB helmet, only difference is the paint and paint won't make you a faster or a better rider, nor happier, none the less a better person. what i was getting to was just be yourself, no need to put on mask with painted helmet, you are who you are on the inside and that's what matters, the outside is just superficial it comes and goes just like money.

i hate how every thread turns into you this you that arguments and accusations.

if the nowadays kids were any original they wouldn't copy a huge existing corporation, they'd paint on something original awesome something nobody has, only then you look at the kid wow that is sick helmet design, very awesome, props.
if you look at travis for example he's 13 or 14 whatever, his bike looks and works like sh!t, has no stickers on it, has a plain helmet, goggles probably without lens or so scratched he can't see anymore, dirty jeans, bald tires, and he pins it more that most of you on here talking about fashion and looks and fancy stuff. that kid is gonna go far, how he is not about what he wears or rides, maybe some day he'll get the RB helmet painted for him with some $ in the envelope and they will ask him to wear their helmet.

when you look at redbull helmet and see rider that doesn't belong under the helmet, you only think wow fake helmet on a fake kid with fake ideals. just be yourself and people will appreciate you more for being a plain and simple person.
i'm sure kid likes pepsi or coke too then he should paint that on i'm sure he drinks more of that than of redbull but he likes redbull cause if ideology after seeing good riders with few RB helmets, if there were walmart helmets and good riders wearing them he'd paint it into walmart helmet thinking it's cool.
it's much cooler being yourself, it's much cooler being a black sheep and do your own thing instead of following be a leader you can get further in life this way.

just little politics on a useless thread so it's not so boring "should i paint helmet?" "they will fine you" "what color should i paint it?" "they won't let you" "my helmet is cooler than your helmet" "your mom is fatter than my mom"

Relax noescapeclothes this thread started as a simple question:

JUST CURIUS, does anyone have a red bull helmet or have anyone ever made one ?
I don't think is necessary to go too far with this. Oh noescapeclothes don't write so long it gets a little boring reading all of your responses.

Honestly I agree^

But, no sport would survive without the people that buy the equipment and want to look fast or factory.

first, i just asked if anyone had a red bull helmet. now its all about being cool and what not. i know i drink more red bull than pepsi or coke. haha. i dont drink soda. so i def wouldnt want one of those helmets. i wouldnt mind a garden burger helmet. i think ill be faster than.

and i thought i was cool because i had horror characters tattooed on my arm. i dont need a helmet to make me cool . :rockout: im not trying to prove anything to anyone. i just ride my bike for fun.
