those are some of the better pics I've seen posted. props.

Can somebody give me the course layout? There are some sections there that I don't recognize, and it looks like part of the course comes down that open area between the end of lower ripper and flume drop. That's new.

Cool pics. They really show how different the course was for Diablo. I say we should run this course again for the finals. I flatted before my race run so I missed out racing it. I'm a sucker.

it was careless whisper to fresh new sick turns, to waterboy, victory, stair jump, to hip, to end of lower ripper, to new gnar open section at the bottom, right turn, pedal up hill and then pedal downhill to finish line.

I was hoping Shawn would put a trail/race course through there!

crap... did an ECCC this weekend in the rain - had fun, but that new section looks RAD:



Shawn - you makin' this a regular part of things to come??? (say yes) :biggrin:

Is this a new trail or strictly for races?

Nice. I remember 2 weekends ago they were clearing that area after lower ripper and I was wondering what they were gonna do with that space. Hope it stays open, looks fun.

Glad they're putting in some new dh lines, no matter how short they are.

No, that patch of woods was cut for ski season. Flume Drop might be gone for next season as well.























Oh, and congrats on quickly replacing "Runnin12s" on the forum! :cheers:
