If i can remember correctly.... wasn't there talk of a PA shuttle day towards the end of the season? Can anyone confirm this? I'm sure we'd all love one last day(s) of ripping some sweet trails before the bikes start getting dusty again!
After hashing over dates at the monthly ODS meeting last night, we will be holding the "Fall Down" shuttler weekend on the weekend of the 25th and 26th.
We will have event camping setup at the Elwha Dam campground just 2 miles from Dry Hill - Here
As usual Sat will be a trail work day most likely evolving into some riding in the afternoon. And Sunday we'll be shuttling full on.
Entry is $35 with a $5 discount for working on Sat, and another $5 discount for wearing a COSTUME! Thats right, bust out the penguin suits folks this is a costume ride. We will be giving out awards for best costume etc. as well.
Official announcement to come!
Apologies to the Moscow crew - This was the only weekend Free of Loggiong activity for us to hold the event.
Hey everyone,
We're going to try and get a rough estimate of how many people are coming out for the Fall Down. We want to have enough food and trucks to ensure a good time w/out going overkill. If you plan on coming out, please drop us an e-mail with the number in your group. Thank you very much.
:huh:What do you man dusty? Don't you mean muddy? You're crazy!! Trails don't dry out in the winter like they do in the summer... I really hope this doesn't mean that you don't ride in the winter...

We plan to have a group camp-out down at the Elwha Dam RV Park. It's only about 2 miles away and has all the amenities. Showers, covered cooking area, fire-pit, etc.. We have an arrangement with them that is only $5 per person for tent sites. In addition we will probably have a spaghetti feed and a bit of a party Saturday night as well.
Just a reminder. If you are coming out Saturday, please bring your favorite trail tool. We will have some available, but not tons. We're not going to break anyones back, just buff out some stuff, maybe build a jump or two, and...oh yeah....a new little trail!
Weathers looking great, we have 3 trucks reserved, foods getting lined up, looks like a sweet finale.
Pretty simple - Hwy. 101 all the way thru P.A. and a left of Walkabout Way (look for signage). If you reach the split for Hwy. 12 then you went too far. If all else fails, get in town early enough and you'll see a caravan of vehicles all sporting big bikes...follow the big bikes!!!
What time are shuttles starting on sunday? anyone know? Can't wait to ride and bringing a noobie out to pop his cherry. Wish I could have made it out today but oh well

Thanks ODS for another great PA shuttle event! Ditto on the perfect dirt, plus great weather and fall leaves display. It was great to have some new trails which really helps to spread people out and reduce congestion.
Thanks ODS guys for putting on a great shuttle day. I hadn't ridden up there in a couple of years and I had a blast. Brought a friend that just got a mtb and he 's hooked.
It was great to see everyone, and we couldn't have asked for a better weekend in every respect. What a great way to end what has been a very busy, but extremely fun year. All the new trails, new faces, new events, and it's only going to get better I believe. Remember, this was our last official event, but I for one will be riding and building all winter, so don't be strangers. I still can't kick the idea of a low-key mud race series Hmmm?
