I was out today riding on some of my local trails and ran into some kids on unicycles. When I got there they were riding the skinnies I built. Before I got there one of them had tried one of the bigger ladder drops. He didn't quite clear the gap....

I'm pretty sure he was ok, they were able to laugh about it.
Also note that the twig ladder drop wasn't my creation.

Wow, this is a good reminder for me to wear a full face helmet and armor when doing wood stunts. I was expecting to see his face split open or even worse with those screams of horror. His buddy was pretty casual about the whole situation. Maybe he knew his buddy was a screamer. I hope he is OK. Dang

Yeah, totally in the air and he starts snarl-screaming. That guy would be smart to hang up the unicycle and grab a microphone in a metal band.

"Are you alright?" There are no stupid questions... except when your friend is screaming bloody murder right in front of you.

It's weird that people put that much time and effort into an activity that basically requires you to do a crotch-grab the whole time. Maybe riding bikes is just too damn easy and cool-looking for these guys. They need something insanely difficult and ridiculous-looking.

I'd like to see you try it.
That vid is great! I wish my balance was that good.

Kris Holm is bad ass. Respect!
I was going to post that same video. Kris Holm is way cool.

I have lots of respect for unicycle riders but at the same time I would rather stick with full suspension. Landing drops on a unicycle doesn't seem all that comfortable to me.

Sure, I can respect the difficulty of it. The only problem is it's just so hideous. With a clown suit, juggling balls, and a 7-year-old audience, it's awesome. I'm surprised anybody on a mountain bike forum thinks it's cool. I really am.
