Help clean out my garage!! With the rainy season here anyone in WA could really use a mud tire around. These were up for sale while unemployed but was able to get enough work to make bills, nothing is wrong with the tires just have to many for one bike.

I have two brand new Maxxis tires that I was going to hold onto for later but these things gotta go :( you win me lose. *edit* I rode this tire setup through some wet mud and some real loose lomey stuff and it felt good. cornering hard through puddles is fun

Both are UST 2.5 super tacky 42a.

I think I saw Fluidride selling these things for about $65 ish plus tax. So maybe $50 obo and i will ship them if your legit with paypal and pick up the shipping. I live in Seattle metro area and ride most places everyone else does so we can meet up somewhere random or a trailhead.

Thanks guys!

too bad you wont ship, kinda hard to hook you up
Well I guess Ill ship, I really just didn't expect anyone else to be reading the Pac NW forum. I guess I was hoping to find someone real local as its easiest. But if you pay shipping whatever it costs to ship em and add $2 for paypal I can go to the shop and see if I can get a tire box.

So yah thanks for the responses, I'm not going to be on the street or without gas in the car but time between jobs is pretty tough. If someone buys these then I can 100% make it to the season ending shuttle day.

So yah I guess I will ship them if your legit and have paypal

First you say that you are deep and need the money for bills

Then you say that the money is going to you driving to and riding you local shuttles with the cash? That's pretty weak.

Hahaha...nice one, RUFUS. Selling your **** is fine, just don't make up some sob story to do so. Pathetic.

damn straight Kim! The message of being out of work was ment for you and my other friends around here, not snaggles from out of town. I don't need a reason to sell things I want to sell. WA has pretty good unemployment insurance that I have paid thousands into as an employee, I am not the only one on this forum to go deal with this. Was just stating why I was bothering to get rid of my stockpile, not because something was wrong, just putting cash in pocket.

Oh and Kim I have those used high rollers for you if you wanna ride thursday. I want to go romp in some mud!!

I like what he said about, no leaking!; no need for pathetic, weak excuses for why you're selling; just do it! If you need money and something's not selling, drop the price and get some money, I do it all the time:nopity:

BTW dude, this is coming from somebody who just sold their bike:shocked: and contrary to popular consensus, it wasn't because I'm too old or too slow:shocked: Times are honestly tough right now for some people and it's going to get worse before it gets better.

Hopefully, when times get tough, we have friends to turn too; And if there's no friends left, there's always Craigslist:lighten:

That's what I am saying. No one is going to buy your stuff quicker because of your sob story.
Trust me, I know exactly what it is like during tough times and unemployment. 6 1/2 months after coming back from the desert, new wife, selling almost all of my bike and camera gear, living at her mothers house, etc.
I had my priorities straight, did nothing but pay my bills and bank the extra cash for the next set of bills and food.
I wanted more than anything to buy a bike part or my camera gear back or even just a little something for the wife but possessions are a little less important especially during hard times when you are scraping, literally, to get by.
I did not do the welfare gig and I honestly didn't even think about it much at all. There are people far more worse off than myself that unfortunately need that just to get through the day and survive. People that just bank off of the system because it is free, easy cash and because "I paid into it" are just pathetic in my book.
Nobody DESERVES anything in life. Appreciate what you have and where you are right now and it will make you a better person in the long run.
My thoughts and my response. End of rant.
Good luck on your current situation, I honestly give you best wishes and fast selling.
RUFUS

Good luck

You know what guys, this was posted in a local forum for a reason. I don't feel like calling, texting or whatnot all of the people I ride with locally at races etc. to ask if they want some tires since we will be at an end of season event for the PNW. There was no intention of a Sob story, guess you just read it how it sounds on the net and it seems a lot of people are hard up. Sucks for those of you that had to sell your bikes and whatnot. I guess to me I was just saying "hey i decided to get rid of some extra stuff since i could use the money for other things in life" just meaning its not a shady set or anything, just spares.

And thanks for the well wishes, I pulled a ton of side work in and rode my bike. Why this simple thread has gone so long I have no idea. If you want some tires then I have them if not they will be waiting for something. - END RANT

Well that wouldn't have been a wise investment for someone whose finances are tight......
Oh and this post is great! I love the assumption that this event randomly happened within the past week. I mean really are you like debby downer or what? Have a sense of humor and laugh when its worthy, I live in a city with so many cardboard signs its not not not ok. Its rough.
