Did a trail this past weekend that I hadn't ridden in about 4 years. You have to climb for at least an hour, but the trails were all very tacky and the singletrack descent is a bit primative and places, but very fun.

The colors out there were amazing. We were slighlty overdressed because it ended up being about 65-70 degrees! It starts with a big fire road climb which is actually a nice change from most rides around here that are all singletrack.

The burn area is from a fire back in 2003 that burned over 140 square miles.

Did a trail this past weekend that I burned down 5 years ago. A couple good things came of it, outstanding views now that the forest canopy is torched away, and it taught me not to discard marijuana joints in the backcountry before checking to make sure they're properly extinguished.
Shocking!

Looks like a beautiful run. Can't wait to get up in the Oregon high country next year as much as possible.

I love your ride reports but I still hate you:drool: only because after looking at these places and pics I want to be there.

:stupid:

I just met a couple that moved to Saratoga Springs from Bend, OR and she and I are going riding together this weekend. I am afraid she's going to kill me and she's afraid I'm going to kill her...it should be interesting to say the least :busted:
Cool! I wonder if I knew them here at all.
