Let's get a 100 rider train going down the mountain on closing day. Be at the top of the mountain at 4pm on Sunday November 2nd to join us. Most likely we will ride some easy and classic like Dominion to Alpine, but that could change.
Also, if you have helmet cams, bring them and let's document the run. Last year we had nearly 80 people, lets get 100 this year. It's tons of fun, so don't miss out!!!

I'm super psyched for this. Riders of all skill levels should take part, it's about having fun and having a crowd. Get pumped.

NOTE: If you injured yourself this year and are unable to ride (my brother included), get you ass up there with video camera in hand. I would love to see a video of the whole train shot from about 10 different perspectives down the mountain. I say that the rules get bent and someone is able to be stopped in the gondola over Alpine to record from the air.

Let's hope this weather shapes up!

O.K. - since I COMPLETELY f-ed up the date for Diabloween (this would have been my first year) thinking it was THIS weekend - I'll be there for the train-ride on Sunday - blown Boxxer and all. (Nothing a bit of Slick Honey shouldn't temporarily fix...) :biggrin:

i got my suit all muddy riding on sunday. i dont know if it will back from the dry cleaners in time.

A few did the business suit on Diabloween. As well we did a preppy day years prior. How about a hick day, overalls, plad shirts, straw hats...just a thought to share.

*SIGH* I think preppy day was the last theme day, and it seems like that one was so long ago. I think we should all lighten up a little and bring back a few theme days in 09.

BUT in the meantime I am down for one last theme day (especially since it would still be technically Halloween weekend). Let's get a theme picked and make it official so more than a half dozen chumps show up in costume!

I think business attire would be fun and easy for a ton of people to scrap together...

Theme day would be awesome! I'd be down. :clapping:

If I can find it, I can wear a business suit from last diabloween... but Im not giving up the 5.10's in place for loafers.

Weather update:
Forecast for the weekend is calling for sunny skies and temps in the 50s.

Most of the snow on the upper mountain is gone with only some small patches remaining. By the weekend we are expecting mostly dry conditions.

Resorts just to our north received 12-16" inches of snow and by some accounts most of it is still on the ground and will stick around! Great news for skiers & riders.

it was a fiasco, travis led the first half and messed up a whip and caused everybody to case every jump.

then a slower person tried to lead the second half and didnt hit the log gaps on alpine :plthumbsdown:

but the hike to indycross was cool
