again it's super stiff in both corners and mashing the pedals.

i've had a heap of other bikes with similar styled suspension - Glory, 6point, Uzzi, Reign X, Sunday, and the Jedi comes out trumps
I'd be interested to see ya time on the work bench DH run now ya ripping on the Jedi!

I'm just amazed they're aren't more of these bikes around! I know they only produce small numbers and this year is putting them more in the spotlight which is a good thing:monkeydance:

Right, well, about the stiffness bit...

How is it in corners and under power? Not so worried how stiff it is huckin to flat. ;)
Like posted above, its super stiff. Probably due to the solid links and shorter rear!!!!!!! Either way its rock solid. Did the first racew last season on it and rocked the reg F1 right before that and this was stiffer than that as well.
I used rocks to berm off at goose creek trail last weekend, slide in fast and use it to plant the bike in a different direction. All was well till i went for it on a frost patch and had to lift my right leg just before major impact on a log. So ICE it sucks :D but as far as cornering it sticks solid.
I havent had a slew of bikes but personal ones to compare it too are:
Karpiel armagedon
RM7
Bullit (x2)
Socom
Giant DHi
Giant pistol
F1 (x2)

It is by far the funest bike to rail on as well as most nimble but not squirrel on crack nimble! :D:D:D
Plus they are just fun overall bikes for bike parks, DJ, FR and racing.

I wonder why they didnt produce this lucky, its sexy as hell!

they made one quite similar, it feels pretty good.

The jedi is a little smoother over rocks and a little more linear, its more of a race bike. The lucky is probably the best "freeride" bike i've ever ridden. Its got proper DH geo, (13.9BB 65˚ HT with 8 inches in the back), is quite progressive, and is not TOO DH to FR. The jedi feels more like a race bike to me.

Anyway, love dealing with the bros and stoked to get to rock one.

Is there sth that could be called a rearward lag present when the susp progresses when you hit a corner hard and the axle goes waaay back? Ie. like in high single pivots?

I kinda liked the proto version of the lucky more, it comes out cleaner with thinner tubes (cromo?)

I had a Lucky for a while. The bike rides great but I do admit that the cromo front triangle of the prototype did look better. The headtube junction on the production frame looked a bit too clunky. Having said that it did make for a really stiff chassis, the rear end being particularly solid.

Here's my old beast:

I know what you mean about the cromo tubes looking clean, but I gotta say I'm pretty happy with my bike! at any rate, back OT.

The Candiggle is sick as well, I talked to Chris the other day and theres a possability he'll be racing this coming season (yes traveling and getting the 20 points needed to travel abroad)...
That should give some feedback at a later date as to the steeds handling!
I raced it last season and its fast as well as accurate on the fly!

That would be awesome to see Chris racing especially on some of the bigger circuits, love to see how this bike will rip in battle :rockout:

I can't wait to race the jedi in the World Cup's next season. Hoping to get the okay from USAC to go to the Pan Am race in Chile,(need the 20 UCI points to get in) but it seems that USAC is not really into letting me go or even taking a gravity team. Anyone have any pull over there- Help me out!

Bullcrew, I see you are back in business big time - NICE :)
yeah the back still wells up its the 2nd time for me breaking the t7 and first time for the t8 LOL. Its time to ride, I rode the day after I broke it and no go, then tried again with B .root and I 3 days later and again still no go. so now several months later I have to make up for it. Excited and definently looking forward to it!:thumb:

Just to keep this sorta on topic, I think those alligator rotors will tear a finger off.

Ididn't realize how much the Lucky looks like the Highline.
