Hi

I am in the market for slopestyle bike and have canfield can can on my list: http://www.canfieldbrothers.com/cancan.htm

So what do you guys think about it? It looks good on a paper, canfield bros are known for looking after people riding their bikes.

My other choice would be Intense SS but here in the UK buying can-can I could have some substantial saving over intense frame so let's talk about it.

Yet another amazing bike by the Canfield Brothers....I have actually ridden that very bike and it rips! Super fun, flickable and tight. One thing that really suprized me about it was how great it pedals. It one thing to have a great Slope style bike that is super stiff, and has great geometry, but to have one that pedals great, works great and will last a lifetime is another.
I am a huge fan of the Canfields...I own a Jedi and could not be happier. I borrowed Chris's Jedi at the Deer Valley National and won the Semi-Pro class by Nine seconds. I purchased a Jedi Frame the next day....and raced it the remainder of the season.

Really great customer service, and bikes built by people who ride them every day. What else needs to be said.

Liking the numbers on that bike could be the perfect mini DH bike, be good to see some more picc's of a medium or large built up, braaaaap great feedback, was wondering what it pedaling manners were like:cheers:

Those bikes are so sick. I pedaled a few of those style bikes around at Interbike last year including the Can Can and the 8" "One", they felt like hardtail's while pedaling. Super efficient linkage design. I so wish I could afford to build a Can Can slypstyle. The Intense SS's are sweet too, but I would personally take the Canfield route, especially if its cheaper over there.

Would you say that CanCan could do AM duties as well? I have a proper DH bike (yeti 303) but I can only have one more bike to do less DH tasks, such as mini-DH, slopestyle, some fun riding, maybe dual slalom - each of these not as a pro but as an enthusiast.

You comments about how well this bike pedals are what I need.

See, I am kind of torn in-between The One and CanCan. I wonder how capable The One is when it comes to slopestyle riding. I am not talking about tricks, flicks, whatever, just having having a bike that could be ridden all day long as AM bike and then with the seat dropped super low having some fun going downhill.

Then

I also wonder how capable CanCan is in terms of using it as AM bike with long seatpost and 32-22 front setup. I am sure CanCan is sweet slopestyle ride just I have no idea how it would cope with AM duties.

Canfield bikes are also less expensive than Intenses here in the UK so that is one of the reasons I am interested in this frame.

Look into the can diggle and the one. The One has a cx ride while the can diggle has a more DH head tube angle. I rode a large can diggle and large one and the only thing I could really tell was how slow the diggle steared.

Another option with the CanCan depending on how tall you are or what size you may be able to get a more AM ride by going one size larger still run a short stem, but have the room for all day riding and yet great GEO for ripping downhill again or single track, large is only a 23.5 tt low stand over, I run a Med 06 RFX with 23.4TT !

If ya need extra seat post height then Titec's knockerscoper would be the go!

Not normally something I'd suggest but think it could work well on this bike.

This is a small demo CanCan.
Hi
Quick question:
How would rate this frame for Am use with GDropper fitted? I like the idea of CanCan as a good bike to pedal around and the very low standover but I am not sure if 4inch GDropper will be long enough for AM use.

I am looking at medium Cancan and I am 172cm tall, regular build i.e. nothing like unusual long legs etc.

Thanks

Cancan - first pictures

Bike is not complete yet, there are few bits I might change (brakes being one of them) but this is pretty much my Megavalanche bike this year :

Good looking build. Thats hot! Makes me think I should build one up for myself. Chris just set one up for a trip to Maui. Going to have to steal it when he gets back.
