I'll bite.

I'm now running high rollers, V1's, SGD Ti-Fly, XT Cassette, and Peaty grips.

I think it comes in somewhere around 41lbs range. I have a light weight wheelset for AM (Yes, I know its not an AM bike. but I don't have money for two bikes)

Bullcrew, that Jedi is

Those photos show how Canfield (and you) have progressed their idea of the perfect mountain bike so clearly.

braaaap, that Lucky looks like a way fun bike.

I hope this thread takes off, bring on the CB's!

I love the way canfields have progressed over the years. From the fatty fat, big fat fatty fat, sig series, f1, lucky/balance, jedi, and now the new little bikes....very cool stuff.

Caner, you staying up late watching adult vids again? Man, you're up late these days. Lets see that Jedi already.

Bullcrew............Your Jedi is super sick.

William.....how do you like your Lucky? I got to ride Chris' for a run at a local mountain and thought it was pretty cool.

I love it. There are so many good things for me to say about it. I was on a glory before, which pedaled better, but thats about the only thing I really miss about it.

The lucky has a bit more squat then the glory (which I like - Its not too squaty like a kona, but it definitely sinks down a little when you brake). The geo is spot on everywhere. Its got just the right balance of "stable at high speeds but poppy of jumps and easy to throw around"

It ramps up smoothly and predictably. I'd never ridden a really progressive bike for a long amount of time, just hopped on, but as I've gotten used to it, I'm a pretty big fan. I'm very much a hack. I like going fast, and if somebody faster then me is ahead of me I'll keep up with them or fall, but i'm by no means a smooth rider who picks my lines well and looks "in control" on the bike. Since i've gotten this bike I've started doing it more - not because it forces me into it and fycks me if I screw up (like a commencial does), but because its just poppy enough that every once in awhile I'll see how I can pick a line thats way smoother and the bike just does it. It takes edges reasonably well, its not quite as good as my glory, but theres not a whole lot of feedback and its reasonably smooth. That may just be a function of the shock though, I love the rebound settings on the ccdb, but the compression just doesn't have the range I want for my leverage ratio. I'll throw on my old shock when I can get some bushings for it and give a comparison.

In short, I love it, and barring getting a job in the bike industry where I'm kind of obligated to buy a bike from my employer, I'll probably be riding CF bro's bikes for the rest of my life. They, and intense, are the only bikes I've ever jumped on and felt instantly natural.

Caner. That pic of you from White PIne is cool. i like how you look all swollen like you got stung right before your run. Kinda like you stuffed your shirt with cotton.

Set up for FR, (front derailleur) w/bash instead of LG1...

As set up for DH, with a Michi 16, instead of the 32 up front, it weighed 37.5 pounds

Probably going to be heavier than 37. My Diggle (66 RC3, ROCO, Saints, Codes, Syncros DPS32/Hope Pro II, Specialized Pinner Pro 2.3) came in at around 41# with Dh tires. Only noticable difference between yours and mine is the ti coil, and your wheels might be slightly lighter, but your tires are heavier.

Could lose some weight with lighter non DH casing non wire bead tires, Ti springs for the shock and fork, maybe lighter bars. Evrything on the bike is built to be on the light side, but strong.

Yeah I think I PMd Demo about it but I'm not sure. I'd like to hear any comparison with other bikes tried from all jedi owners that stumble upon this topic if possible.

For now Jedi is one of the only 2 possible non sp bikes I'm considering for 09.
