* not sure if this is the right place for this or not *
I am new to Seattle. Moved out here from the east coast and I have been riding the GreenLake Jumps almost every day since they are close to my apartment. It is super rare that I see any other mountain bikes down there, so I thought if I opened up the lines of communication on the interwebs, maybe I could know when others will be there and I can spend less time riding by myself. Let me know!

I don't go there often, but every time I have been there its was between 3-5pm and there were BMXers and MTBs.

Yeah, I have been to SST a bunch. I am just asking about Green Lake because it is close enough that I can ride there.

Daylight savings time is over... so I can only ride there on weekends until spring. Also, it seems youth soccer is in full swing, which means there are dozens of little kids running up and down the jumps every weekend... with soccer cleats on. Lame. Also, the jumps are taller than the little kids, so you can't tell if there are some hiding in the middle of the pack. I'll probably be there next saturday though... with a shovel to do some shaping before riding.

I'll be on a black eastern.

Yeah, the little people with their cleats can be rough on the jumps, but the wet weather has been making it easier to maintain the dirt. Maybe I will see you guys around. I am usually on my blue evil.

Say hi if you see me down there, I'm tuning up the DJ bikes this week and I should be doing occasional weekend stops down there. Me: fat, bald d-bag on an all-white Transition Trail or Park, white helmet too. I need to get down there early enough to get a session in on that new park next to the DJs.

I didn't make it out there this weekend. I'm working on some trails at my house in Bothell. Right now, I've got a double into a berm, followed by a really steep double into a right hand hip double... and then a bunch of woods begging for more jumps. If anyone wants to come help/ride, you're welcome to. The jumps are medium sized, pretty techy.

It's probably about 25-30 minutes when traffic is on your side. It's fully dark when I get off work now, so it's weekends only. There's a couple more spots out here that you kind of have to ride at your own risk... but if you're really interested in that, I can point you in the right direction.

Sounds good to me. Hit me up with some contact info via PM when you plan on getting out. I am also on a bit of a weekend only schedule right now too.

They are at a town park. There are baseball fields, soccer fields, a small skate park and DIRT JUMPS! More towns should be like this. Oh, and saturday afternoon had about twenty people riding. 26s and 20s. The dirt is in great shape right now........ for all those who complain about them being run down.

The trails at my house... You start in my yard, and you end up in somebody's woods. And it's not really my house, I rent it. That's why I'm not really sure if I should go all out with the jumps. But... I probably should.

Here is one. I would like to actually get some riding shots. I didn't want to stop and use the camera today. I think I will be back tomorrow (sunday) afternoon. Keith said he'll be there to play on the new lines.

They are public jumps, no need for PM's.

They are located in Lower Woodland Park near Greenlake in Seattle.

Take I-5 south (if your in lynnwood), take the 50th street exit, go right on 50th. Drive until you reach a giant 5 way intersection. I think the cross street is Stoneway.
Take a right, take a left into the parking lot. pedal across the soccer fields. jump your bike.
