Holzfeller dual to single ring conversion?

I have a Truvativ Holzfeller dual ring w/bash guard and isis bb. i want to pull off the front der and granny to have a dedicated shuttle setup. Can I use a single ring box guide with these cranks ? or do I have to change out the cranks to use one?

I believe the chainring bolts and the BB as well, since you will have to remove the inner chainring.

I have the same cranks and I'm running a single front ring, but w/ E13 SRS and scharger bashguard. You may need different (longer or shorter) chain ring bolts to compensate for the loss of rings and/or the addition of a bash guard. The e-13 came w/ hardware and spacers to make everything jive nice. I'd hope the boxguide comes with these sweet bits. Hope this helps.

The hand is doing good.Yes,Im DEFINITELY down for a ride.Im cleared to ride again middle/late Nov..Ive been out all season with the broken hand.I just bought a Demo 9 w/granny gear???? i dont know who would climb with this beast.cant wait to use it.ill PM u in a couple of weeks about riding/when/where.
