I've heard those bikes ride "nothing special" but holy crap, that looks great! and light.

let us know your riding impressions when you get the chance, and congrats and a new shiny thing.

I hate you now. Well since I am not going to be the first kid on the block with one, now I dont want one.

Youll like the rear braking. its nice. Oh, and the freefloating shock makes for a nice ride. Most of those we have been setting up, we have been able to set them up with lower spring rates than what would be expected for the given suspension ratio.

Enjoy

Am I the only one not crazy about the build Trek put together? Don't get me wrong there are some nice stuff on the bike just stuff on there that ruins a nice build on a top of the line DH bike.

So much needed to make that bike how i would run it, but i dig the heart of the bike - frame/fork/shock/groupset....
Hope you love it.

Buy the bike sell the parts you don't like - over here it's only a couple of hundred pounds* more than a Giant Glory full build for a much lighter bike. Add £500* worth of your favourite/proven components, sell the rest and you've got a great bike.**

* Use your own currency to suit
** Some of those components look gash - how loooong is that stem/how fat is that seat? Are those tyres any good?

it defenitly ruins the build for me. You would have thought a company like Trek would have done there market research and realised by now that no matter how good the bontrager stuff is that most of us gravity junkies think of it as cheap ass trek own brand components. I can't see why they didn't just go with an oem deal on a funn or straightline finishing kit. Its like having a Ferrari with steel rims and hub caps.

I would rather run Bontrager kit that Funn.

Saying that I did strip all of it off my session except the wheels - they will do for winter.
