Nice. Good to see pros handing out advice.

Hopefully you'll be covering DSLR tips & usage?

Cheers.

Good stuff. I'd like to start carrying my dslr when I ride, but I'm not sure of the best way to carry it. Can you elaborate on how you carry your gear? Do you use a chest holster, fanny-pack style bag, in your camelbak or some other way?

Towing the party line.
If I am riding and am carrying an SLR, I am probably going on a shoot. In that case I'll probably just have my Lowepro photo trekker AW loaded down with 80lbs of gear, and someone else will be wearing an Ogio Guide pack with my Elinchrom Ranger lights in it.

"Riding" is a relative term in this case! If I am just carrying a camera on a real ride, it will be my little P&S.

On the mountain I use either this bag, or a lowe pro deluxe belt system for everything.

Hey Fraser, do you rely on continuous shooting (ie frames per second) or do you go for the one shot, get it right approach?
