Where the riding is good
Hey all -

I remember seeing an absolutely gorgeous V10 posted on the forum several months ago. It was a black frame with purple ano parts. It also had custom purple boxxer decals.

Search has revealed nothing. Thanks for your help. Please post the pic/thread if you come across it.

Yeah, thats my bike. Here is another photo of it after a few more purple bits and a different saddle. I missed half the season because I lacerated my kidney at the US Open. The bikes still in really good shape, and I look forward to another season on it.

That bash can't be more than 5 years old. The first couple versions of the bash were clear lexan.

Sparkles, Just wondering. Why did you change out the Lg1 for the SRS?
A press release was sent out by Santa Cruz advising against running the LG1, or the MRP ripoff version of it. The ISCG tabs weren't reinforced with that style of guide in mind, and if in the case of breaking them off, it wouldn't be covered under warranty.

Manhattan, I've been holding on to that old school evil supercharger since it came out. I get quite of a few compliments on it, more people notice it than you'd think.

Did they reinforce it for the newer v10 models?

Did you get knifed or something? Laceration to internal organ..
I hit a rock with the front of my torso. The abrupt stop forced my kidney forward, causing it to actually split and bleed internally. They classified it as a laceration for this reason. I spent 3 days in a stepdown unit under close watch for fear of possible surgery (which never happened). The good news is that I'm no longer afraid of needles, blood samples every 3 hours put an end to that! :happydance:
