I bought a Yeti DJ and plan to start riding again after a 2 year break. I'm looking at the Mavic Crossmax SX wheels for this bike which will be used for dirt jumping and some 4X / BMX track racing. I'm 200lbs and a relatively smooth rider, however I expect to be casing some jumps as I get back into riding. I'm trying to keep this bike very light and the Crossmax SX's appear to be very light and pretty strong too. I searched for reviews and only found a few, I'm basically looking for some real life feedback from people using these wheels for a while and how they're holding up.

BrianHCM#1 sucks.

I rode them on my Reign. Mine were 1900g and I ran them tubeless. Never had to true them in 10 months of riding, not that I was doing any Dj's, but I rode them everywhere incuding a couple of Super D's. They are DH strong, but AM light. I now have a lighter set of wheels for my local XC, but still have the SX's for when I want to do a little light DH.

whassup Don?

Joe has been using a set on his 6.6 for all around riding and that ham fisted bastard hasn't killed 'em yet. My coworker also has been using on his FR bike all season.

I used a set for our local ski hill and some DJing. Great wheels, very strong, very light.

Buy the Mavic MP3 program with them and you're set.

They're awesome I have had a set a couple months. I will be getting hooked up with a sponsored set soon.
So if you're looking to save a few bucks and get a lightly used set that look new.
give me a pm if you want - either way I had a previous set of XL's and they rocked for years. The best quality strong wheel at the lightest weight.
