My Sauce
Size LG
Parts off my old Yeti frame.
Bike climbs like a short xc bike but rides like a mini DH bike on the downhill.
Everyone has posted the other frames but not this one.
My twin brother has the same frame

awesome to see that bike built up. i was thinking, assuming i have enough money, which i don't, but i would love to have one of those for pedal days.

how does it handle steep downs and high speeds? how about versus the yeti 575 and similar bike. would be great to hear more details on the ride and bike.

Nice.

Finally somebody posting about the Sauce. You mention you used part of the Yeti. Did you have a 575? If so, how do you compare the bikes? I love my 575 but would like to have a bike with ISCG tabs and all Canfield Brothers have it.

Always liked the bikes and the brothers. Seems they've stepped up their offerings, as well as moved to taiwan for production.

There bikes have been made oversees since they intraduced the First F1's. The signatures and Fatty Fats where made in the US.
I have only had one real ride on it and it climbs better than my yeti and is a blast on the dh. I still need to work out my parts but pulled all the parts off my Yeti to build it up in a hurry.
All in all the frame is fun and light. Chris has been great to work with and has been lots of help with the frame.

That's quite a statement. I would need to try it. Where do you live? ;)
It reacts to the small bumps better than the 575 did. The yeti was good as long as you where in the middle ring but got harsh in the small ring. The Sauce rides the same in any ring. Frame was 5.6 Lbs with a fox rp23.
I live in Utah so if you are in the area let me know and you can take mine or my brothers for a spin.

Thanks. I'll let you know if I venture again in this area this year.

We have snow up here so I have not taken it out since I put it together. This fork does have a clearance issue but the first fork I had on there did not have a clearance issue. If you run a fox fork with all the goodies than you have an issue. No issue with the nixxon that I had on there. I did install a cane creek +5 head set and I now have room under the down tube.

Thanks. That's what Chris also mentionned. But this slackens the head angle a bit. He measured 68deg on his. I would be curious to know if there is an issue with a Pike 454.
