i hate them. so much. dug this thing up making a new lip in my yard. for reference, the lander it's leaning on is over waist high. it's about 6-8" around or so too.


that's the 3rd or 4th one i've come across that big. full backyard trails check coming eventually

guess you gotta learn to live with it..
besides, nothing a couple of axe swings can't fix ;P

My little pumptrack happens to be built in a yard surrounded by big ol' trees. I had root of all sizes, including more then a few that big. I broke 2 metal shovels and eventually resorted to the axe method. It sucked and worked me pretty good.

But, hey, its part of the digging process, right? What doesn't kill ya makes you stronger!

yeah, no doubt... We had some trail digging going on last summer where we couldn't get some out simply with axes, so we had to hook up a chain around them to a polaris sportsman four-wheeler and yank out some tap roots that went straight down a good 5-6ft. Dirty bastids.
