Thanks for the love fellas. It is a dream bike for me, and it rides like no other bike I have helmed. It just happened that we were building a shed at the same time I was building the bike, so the shed got the skull treatment!

I think the final weight was tipping 40-41. A full 10 lbs lighter than my old Astrix, so to me its like railing a hardtail!

I can't say enough about how well designed the frame is.

agreed, its not the best pedaler I've ever ridden, but it just opens up when you start moving down a hill on it, and there is nothing about the frame itself that does not inspire confidence.

Here's my fun little ride... Built her up in April and spent some quality time throwing her off of stuff all summer. I've owned 4 Canfields and this one blows me away EVERYTIME I ride it!!! I also attached a pic of my old Lucky...

BTW... nice crowns Bullcrew... where did you get the idea???

Killingtonvt, that gap that you're doing they showed in seasons scares the crap out of me, most stuff I look at and think "well, I might not do that but I can see myself doing that, it looks intense but doable;" that does not. I would just crap my pants at the top and walk away.

sick bike too

That bike is P.I.M.P Killington...

I thought it would take at least a full season before I had bike envy again... you just blew that idea away... I think I know what I may build in 09!!

I always wonder the same thing... When I walked up to this thing from the bottom I said, "no way... this is WAY above me". The crazy thing is when I looked down from the top, it looked so different!!! You could totally see the dynamics of it. It just go to show you that well built features change things!
