yeah, it's a mix cassette/balance 7k rim, dt spokes. I retrofitted the cassette body on the hub with a new primo driver. totally pimped. I just don't run pegs so I never run that wheel. we can chat via pm if you like.

Came with a cut post..working on getting a longer post soon only reason because I can't pinch when I throw bars other than that the seat feels good.
Ride what you like, I hate low bars and ride with my stem flipped... get sh*t for it all the time. Also run a rear brake/gyro and have a little Chicago in my bars too...

my bike pales in comparison to tom's

my friend jaek did up a sweet hand painted headtube badge, lumberjack with a bloody axe:
Your bike looks b!tchin'. I dig nice, well-used bikes, and yours doesn't have the short seat tube/low standover bull**** scooter-with-pedals look that most modern BMX bikes have.

I wish I'd bought another Stricker before S&M gayed it up.

Aside from that seat, that bike looks awesome. I'm still riding a 1st generation mid-BB stricker. Awesome frame.

just picked up a t1 garrett on friday in 21.25, wanted to try out a longer frame
Very nice. I just picked up a 21" Barcode, raw. Been meaning to buy one for years. I'm debating whether to transfer all the parts over from my perfectly great Stricker, or whether to buy new parts for the Barcode and have two perfectly good BMX bikes in rotation. And, I've been brakeless for six years or so--do I keep the brakemounts and cable guides on the Barcode, or do I chop them? Decisions, decisions.

Grom, still interested about the TT and how it feels. My buddy has one but I think he went to the shorter side. Also, is it 5.5lbs or 5. T1 likes to quote there waits a tad lower then Dan's so I just wondered.

oh sorry man, didn't even see that haha. it feels good, i can definitely notice it's longer. my hop 3's aren't as consistent, but that's also because i've ridden it like twice. i may end up getting a 21" squad because it's exactly like my credence with a longer tt. not too sure yet. it's like 5lbs 7oz or so, the new version will be lighter.

Very nice. Bikes were bikes in those days, unlike most of the garbage that is on the market these days.

some better pics with less glare:

Built it thurs/fri and only have one hour on it so far, but it's amazing. Feels way more comfortable than my last bike. Real test will be tomorrow morning at the big skate park. Then I'll have to take it to some trails and see how it likes dirt.
