has diablo figured out another way to scam us season pass holders, who race, into paying even more money?...

^lol. Are all of the indycross races going to be the same? it seems like if u win it the first time you will win it every time, or are there going to be changes made to vary it up?

If you have a season pass and only race DH this is a better deal for you- $20 less than last year for intro and am.

These race fees now look comparable to, if not cheaper than, other regional races, no?

Why not just go to a platty race and pay $80 for DH and DS, throw in an extra $7 and you get dinner. Diablow blows hard again.

That's an interesting way to look at it. For those who don't race dual or indycross, it's actually $10 cheaper now to race at Diablo than Platty, right?

Wrong, unless you just want to ride on sunday that is. At diablo riding and practicing saturday+racing sunday=$80 at Platty riding and practicing saturday and racing sunday=60 or less. $20 cheaper to race at Platty.

I like cheaper race fee's. And to those who constantly bitch about how season pass holders don't get a discount YOU ARE DUMBASSES! Season pass holders ride for free after 8 rides so that means after 8 times you ride free everyday after that. So I dont think paying 55 dallors for a race is a huge deal. And if you still think it is too expensive go build all your own trails.

As a season pass holder, I wouldn't have to pay for Saturday, so that doesn't concern me.

Beyond that, your math is questionable. Diablo amateur class entry + saturday lift ticket = $75. Platty sport/expert class entry = $65. Difference = $10.

In any case, this is hardly something to get outraged about. If it's not worth the extra $10 to you, then don't race. I've never, ever chosen one race over another based on a $10 difference in entrance fees.

With as many races as there are, it comes down to money. That's $10 I can put away for gas for the next weekend. Plus highland is amazing now and platty is just where it's at for DH. Unless diablo does some serious work this offseason I'll be passing on a lot of those races.

Oh no! your absence from the diablo races will just be devastating. I don't know what I will ever do without you there. Perhaps maybe you can tell that I look like I am 10 so I know you are still way superior to everyone else, except pinksock.
